The only companion relationship I didn't like was IsabelaxFenris lol

 

The other hints in DA2 were ok 

 

 

Their relationship was more of a one night stand, nothing serious.

I saw in another thread here that apparently members of the Inquisition could end up in romances if you don't pursue them yourself. So Josie won't be my first romance *activate flameshied* as I'm going for Sera first, so I'm thinking perhaps she'll end up with Cullen. Just have a feeling this could be possibru.

 

Any thoughts guys n' gals as to who Josie might end up with if you don't pursue her?

 

Oh I do love the companions romance but I sure hope it is not only straight ones this time.

For Josephine I am seeing Cullen or Sera. I would said Leliana was maybe the strongest candidate, they seem more on the same level of understating but I doubt bioware would do that. Still even that would be cool. People do not stay in the same relationship over the years because things most of the time do change. The rage would be epic lol

Leliana could still be a possibility. Just make it so that for it to happen the Warden doesn't romance Leliana and the Inquisitor doesn't romance Josephine.

Even if Leliana does romance the Warden maybe they break up? Because to me it seems something like that did happen in DA 2 DLC of Sebastian. I mean I never get why people hate this type of things, it adds to the drama and characters. The Warden story is over and like we saw with Jacob, companions do cheat like the PC (it was done poorly but in Leliana case it could be cool to see.)

That'd be an awesome way for the developers to do things. Turning it into a consequence for cross-game choices.

We know that Josephine knows Leliana from before and they make a good team and we know that Cullen is respected by Josephine but has a more aggressive response to problems and that makes them clash sometimes.

I just don't ship them myself, lol for once I'm not the one pushing these two together!  I just see them as old friends, Lels has had a colourful love-life but I don't think she boinked every close female friend she had in her past, as much as some would like to imagine!

But since their romance is still unresolved if she hooked up with a member of the Inquisition whilst my warden still drew breathe my jimmies would rustle, oh yes rustle gently in the breeze. Welp not so gently. Just need closure here, bad, gah dragging it out like this, I hope it will be worth it.

Well, as I said if Leliana got involved, with Josephine or whoever, it would only happen if in the Keep she wasn't selected as the Warden's love.

I'm going with them still caring deeply for each other, but the whole Warden-Commander/Hand of the Divine thing keeps them apart most of the time. The epilogue for DA:O does mention that they travel together for a while, so there may be times where their chosen lines of work reunite them but it's not the storybook "happily ever after" sort of thing.

I'm going to put my money against Josephine having a past relationship with Leliana because Leliana may have been in a relationship with the Warden for the last 10 years and isn't the type to "cheat."

Granted, they could have met during Leliana's early boarding days, but she had been in a relationship with Marjolaine at the time. Same arguments apply.

I was thinking the same. I imagine Josie started working in her late teens / early twenties and since she's worked for years as an ambassador in the royal courts of Thedas that must place her late twenties / early thirties imo.

In medieval story telling, being a teenager is equivalent to being 25-30, you're expected to be an adult and take many responsibilities. I remember reading The Prince Of Thorns and the protagonist (Jory) was only 15 when he lead his own group of unstoppable bandits who ruined villages and stopped armies just so he could be prince, wanting to be King by the time he's 17. In The Demon King, I think the protagonist was about 16(?) when he was expected to go on hunts and do things that are unthinkable for a teenager to do now. I can go on and on but I'll leave it at that because OT.
