In medieval story telling, being a teenager is equivalent to being 25-30, you're expected to be an adult and take many responsibilities. I remember reading The Prince Of Thorns and the protagonist (Jory) was only 15 when he lead his own group of unstoppable bandits who ruined villages and stopped armies just so he could be prince, wanting to be King by the time he's 17. In The Demon King, I think the protagonist was about 16(?) when he was expected to go on hunts and do things that are unthinkable for a teenager to do now. I can go on and on but I'll leave it at that because OT.

Yeah, and we know Dragon Age follows this:

Cassandra is a teenager in Dawn of the Seeker.

The Warden is in their late teens to early twenties in Origins.

Alistair is twenty in Origins. 

etc.

I think Josie is one of the younger followers, so early to mid 20s.

Doubtful. I'll second the guess that she's in her 30s. She's been working for years (I would guess that's more than just a couple too) as a diplomat, and I don't think that means just a couple of years. I don't really see a powerful Antivan family sending a 15-16 year-old to do that kind of job.

Early-mid twenties: Cole

Mid-late twenties: Josephine, Sera

Early-mid thirties: Cullen, Leliana

Mid-late thirties: Cassandra, Dorian, Vivienne

Early-mid forties: Iron Bull, Solas, Varric

Mid-late forties: Blackwall

Idk age never really mattered to me (<<<< romanced Samara in Mass Effect) but I guess considering how young I think my Inquisitor to be I want someone close to his age, guess I just have to reassure myself that age doesn't matter

Headcanon for the win! It's a shame though. If we had an age slider and our age was reflected in conversation...

Fine by me, I'm quite certain age wasn't brought up in previous DA instalments (in terms of romancing) so doubt the age of the Inquisitor will get in the way of Josie going all googly eyes over the PC

I like the idea of age being a factor, but I can see why they wouldn't implement it. The majority of my Quizzies will be under 30, though, so it might have been cool to see it referenced. Josie's actually getting one of my rare older Quizzies, who will be in her early 30s. They shall be a mature, ultra competent power couple.

If I had to guess Josephine's age, I'd say 29-32. If they end up not actually saying it ingame, I wouldn't mind that much, to be honest. That way, everyone could decide for themselves and be happy that they're "right".
