I solved the Josie/Cass problem by panning out two inquisitors.

Pretty much. I was like, "Well, my first female Inquisitor will be with Josephine and my first male Inquisitor will be with Cassandra. Okay, done." :P

So who did you end up with ? I am curious to hear your rationale, especially since I was in that situation myself.

Unless the Devs made the choice for you. Also assuming you do not wish to play a different gender than your own and... Ok, lots of ifs but the point stands!

Josephine. Though to be clear, I'm planning of romancing all of them :P. I was torn for my first.

I'll get why I'm skeptical of Josephine out of the way.I am a grouch and professional cynic. If Josephine is relentlessly cheerful in the vein of Kelly Chambers, I'm going to need more coffee. On the other hand, I love moral, effective bureaucrats. I'm planning a political/espionage path myself And Josephine does seem like a good person. My Inquisitor is a female human mage, early 20s. She used to be a dreadfully silly girl before she had to fight for her life. Now she's a good bit harder. But she still acts as if honor and chivalry exist because it's important to her to pretend it's true. She was the girl always reading in the library, who dreamed of doing something with her magic. She has a fine eye for detail and it's almost impossible to make her lose her temper these days. I think she'd relish the management/judgment aspects of her role and be good at it. But there's still that romantic part of her that's caught up in the knight in lady dynamic (I've RP'd this with both m/f and f/f in ME so traditional gender roles aren't a foregone conclusion).

I think they Josephjne isn't going to be much like Kelly, so you shouldn't be much worried about it.
Though both Blackwall and Josephine seem good choices for your PC.

I wish I was like that. It's just when I find a romance I like ....

I tend to play it again and again in every single playthrough

I ended up doing that with Leliana. :D I remember playing a new Warden who was supposed to go for Zevran, but then I got to the tavern in Lothering. Why is her voice so sexy? It's not fair. I'm going to waste so much time at the war table just to hear Leliana and Josephine give me advice on what to do. I wonder if they have special dialogue if we take too much time to make a decision...

I just cut Anders out because it looks ridiculously cute with a cat on top of his head and his expression cjqwelqjwe,  and edited it a bit to hide the hilt from Hawke's sword.

In a way I get what u mean except I'm like that for any romance. Light and fluffy romance is ok but so boring! I need some drama dammit so that way once they get passed it it makes the love for one another even stronger....if that was what u were getting at anyway

I do think that adding drama to a relationship does make it more interesting, because it like throws these difficulties that could separate the couple but if their love, understanding and willingness is strong enough they can make it through the hardships and that'll only lead to a stronger and better relationship. While I enjoy a happy, cheerful relationship it should have it's serious times to completely cut it for me, I'd say something like Ashley from Mass Effect but she just went over the top.

Okay, now I shall celebrate my 1000th post (!!!!)  :wizard:  :wizard:  :wizard:

:wizard: I wanna dedicate it to this awesome thread and to the OP and to the scribblers and to Allegra and Sylvia and of course just all of Bioware and everyone who's been good to me here. Thank you guys for keeping me company and entertaining me; being quite unsocial and only having a couple of real friends who don't like DA does make it difficult to get excited and turn the hype into fun instead of misery, but thanks to ya'll that didn't happen. You've all been really nice to me and I greatly appreciate that.  <3

:wizard: I'm really excited for Josephine, the second I laid my eyes on her back when the trailer got released I knew she could possibly be the one and I do hope (because it's never happened before) for it to be a romance I shall fully enjoy and connect to!

:wizard: I'm sorry if I've ever pissed off anyone, I remember when I was still new I made a dumb comment that could easily be misunderstood as Josie being exactly the same as Traynor and that annoyed Pseudo and possibly other people and for that I'm sorry. And if I've ever said something that offended anyone I'm also sorry for that!

:wizard: That's all I think I can say, now again back to fawning over Josephine.... Accord

I would actually love that, I'm so used to being in relationships with warriors in games I have no idea what would having a non-combatant as a LI.. I guess Traynor counts as one but I've never actually tried it ;-; (damn you rejecting me ;-; )

And yes, I know, I wish, I hope but it seems we might not be getting that anytime soon xD

Well, when so much as making a thread asking for it is "insulting the LGBT community", then yeah I wouldn't be surprised.

While I meant for any gender I see what u mean. I just kinda thought that something like free marriage would be allowed in somewhere like orlais

Why don't they just put it in and make it so people of any orientation can get hitched? I'm pretty sure Cullen, in all his Cullen-liness, won't worry who you're growing old with when there is a gigantic demon horde popping through.

My thread wasn't asking for specifically gay marriage. It was asking for the option to marry your love interests. That's it.

It was Allan who said the quoted phrase, among other stuff.

As far as I know Kallen was talking about marriages in general.

Which cannot happen due to the fact it would be "insulting" to the erm LBGT or whatever community.

Because Thedas doesn't have anything beyond Hetrosexual marriage period.

So its ruined for everyone, forever!

I will never get to marry Cass, I won't be able to marry Cullen and i won't be able to marry Josie.

All because it would be insulting because a handful of pixels are represented as one sex rather then the other.

I was pointing at the reasoning for it.
