I've only done two full playthroughs of DAO. Once I found a character I liked, I wasn't interested in telling anyone else's story.

I am doing a full playthrough of DA2 right now. Just got through the Ancient Rock Wraith fight, and oh God was that a nail biter. That bastard took out my party members one by one until only Hawke was left. I used up half of my health potions beating that bastard.

Its really cool that a fan of the game became a VA for an LI. How excited were you when you were approached for the VO role for Josie or did you approach Bioware?

I've only done two full playthroughs of DAO. Once I found a character I liked, I wasn't interested in telling anyone else's story.

 

Same thing for me actually. Though I've done the same character more than 2 times. I just can't see anyone else as 'The Warden' anymore. :S

Same thing here. I've done all origins and finished the game with them all, but the city Elf is The Warden for me.

Dalish for me. I actually liked the other Wardens I played, particularly my dwarf noble, but there was always a little disconnect because I never felt like what I was doing was canon.

It's weird how some characters feel more right than others, isn't it? I wonder which variation of the Inquisitor will click for me this time. Even knowing a bit about the backgrounds, I'm curious how it's going to be reflected in gameplay.

 

Oh, and new banter with Ragequisitor!

Josephine: Of course not. But you will need allies and beating everyone into submission might not be the best way to go. Not to mention it might not be possible.

 

Ragequisitor: It's more honest if nothing else. You call yourself a diplomat, but you're just a glorified courtier. All fawning and flattery.

 

Josephine: No. Flattery is telling people what they want to hear. Diplomacy is making people want to hear what you have to say.

 

Ragequisitor: *scoff* You're right. That is so different.

 

Josephine: About as different as bullying and leadership. *walks away*
