See, that's the one downside about being a VA in a series you're a fan of. You can't be too surprised by the plot.

That said, it's probably outweighed by the positives.

It's gonna suck for me it's gonna be about a month before I can play it after release until the Winter term finishes at uni... and then I bet I'll be revising over Christmas for January exams 

 

Exactly the same here, thing is I'm already bad at what I'm taking so I have to work extra hard.... I'll never be able to enjoy the game like that

I dunno. It must feel a little surreal to hear yourself coming out of a video game. Like: I'm playing a character, voiced by someone else, who is taking advice from a NPC voiced by me.

I'm going home for Thanksgiving for about a week. I hope I've gotten close to finishing a PT (difficult, as I have a full time job and am a total completionist) before I have to hop on the plane, otherwise I'm going to have a week off from the game. Do not want ;_____;

 

(at least I know how the game ends can't spoil me there HA HA HA ;D)

Yeah, whenever a new game comes out I always marathon it.

Don't know how well that will work since DAI is supposedly 150+ hours, but it can be an experiment.

HEEEE, I love it! Though it needs a big bowl of pasta to be Italian Thanksgiving. Turkey and pasta and artichokes and candied yams and and and I really need to get lunch right now. (Spoiler: the "eat all the things" holiday is my favorite one of the year)

 

As for the whole "listening to myself in a video game" thing.... It's going to be surreal for sure! Like many actors, I get really self-conscious when watching/hearing myself perform--it's a lot of asking myself why I did something the way I did it, what the hell was that choice, oh god I'm doing that dumb thing with my face again, etc. It's going to be surreal as all hell to play Inquisitor for that reason, but I'm still excited! I felt like a rockstar coming out of the booth, so I'm hoping I still feel like a rockstar as I play the game XD

You Yanks wouldn't have problems with DAI's release if you Americans celebrated Thanksgiving at a sensible time (mid-October) like we Canadians.

 Yes, though depends on the mom. I haven't cooked much since my kids could reach the stove without a stool (give them a choice between cooking dinner and loading the dishwasher or cleaning toilets, etc., and it's amazing how enthusiastic they get about cooking). Here, it's more like "Mom! Come get dinner!" "But..." "Just pause it, or you'll forget and have to eat cold food."
