For those planning multiple playthroughs: will you prepare a different world state in the Keep for each one? I know I will!

I have two world states in mind

one with a morrigan romance, alixanora king and queen, anders romance, side mages.
one with a anora marriage, wardenxanora king and queen, no romance, side templars.

I definitely will be. I might re-use some world states, like I plan to use the same world state for my first and fourth playthroughs. And I do plan on doing a worst-choices playthrough, which I am currently doing in Origins and I will continue this world state in Dragon Age 2 after that. Which may be hard to do both emotionally and gameplay-wise considering if I do this right I'll end up with only Loghain left in the party at the end of DA:O.

HEEEE, I love it! Though it needs a big bowl of pasta to be Italian Thanksgiving. Turkey and pasta and artichokes and candied yams and and and I really need to get lunch right now. (Spoiler: the "eat all the things" holiday is my favorite one of the year)

 

As for the whole "listening to myself in a video game" thing.... It's going to be surreal for sure! Like many actors, I get really self-conscious when watching/hearing myself perform--it's a lot of asking myself why I did something the way I did it, what the hell was that choice, oh god I'm doing that dumb thing with my face again, etc. It's going to be surreal as all hell to play Inquisitor for that reason, but I'm still excited! I felt like a rockstar coming out of the booth, so I'm hoping I still feel like a rockstar as I play the game XD

Do you think one of them being voiced by you will somehow effect how you interact with the advisors?

Only a few are complaining. Most straight guys I know who play DA love the options they have.

 

You won't hear or read any complaints from me about the LI's available for the straight guy, very pleased with Cass  but especially Josie  she's perfect. 

 

Yup. I was fine with Cassandra but Josephine is just perfect. I was sad Sera wasn't an option for like 15 minutes lol.

 

Me too! Around 15-30 minutes was the time it took for me to accept that if I want a slice of Sera I will need to switch up and make it happen  (3rd playthrough here I come).

 

I have yet to play Warden's Keep or the Witch Hunt DLC, I'm a bad BSN'r.  I will prob just youtube em both tbh, at the mo I'm finishing up DA2 DLCs.

 

If you get the chance, I recommend you give them a whirl. I romanced Morrigan in DA:O so I loved Witch Hunt (probably a little too much) and Warden's Keep is worth playing imo. I haven't completed the DA2 DLC myself and the way things are going I doubt I will so I too might have to watch it on the YouTubes if I want to be updated

Tis be true, I'll never forget on my first playthrough of DA:O I was getting my smooth operator on and making it happen with Morrigan and I wanted to keep Leliana close, then she confronted me about it and she most definitely got catty, that accent though... *melts like fudge on a hot sundae* I made it up to her on my second playthrough

It's Ser Beefcakes in two of em drake and since Allegra said she is gonna pursue him herself in game first I think it's safe to say, it's a canon!

 

 

Since I will be pursuing Sera first it will be interesting if non romanced companions hook up.
