I think it'll be kinda silly to not bring Josie. Unless of course Vivienne can fill her role. Though I think I'd prefer a quadruple threat made up of Josie, Viv, Leliana and Dorian.
It would be a shame if the game doesn't allow that, true. I remember the Citadel DLC in ME3, the casino infiltration. You could take one of your teammates to the party, including red carpet treatment. Awesome. But it was only for companions (except EDI), and in fact only for current companions at that time (ok, Wrex was included because he was the guest star party member in the DLC).

Same thing here. I'm waiting for the game to get a good grasp of the characters and then I'll get to work on a big fic that will focus on the Inquisitrix, Josephine and Cassandra. I just really like those two ladies.

That's my biggest fear with Josie. Please don't be another throw away romance like traynor
They've said many many times that advisers have the same level of romance as the companions. So unless all of the romances are traynor level, then don't worry about Josie

Yup, I'm not too worried, the DA team are pretty solid when it comes to the romances in their games.
So just relax and get

Ah, good point! Plus Dorian don't look Dorian in that picture. Guess I got too excited by seeing Josie and didn't check the rest of the crew out properly.
