I remember that article. I really want to see how it plays out. Still, I'd like gifts to be around for flavor if nothing else. It makes a good conversation piece.

Speaking of gifts. I hope we can give gifts to our companions/advisers. I think the way they did it in DA2 worked well, as well as the more plot specific ones in DAO. Each gift was specific to that character and had a little accompanying cut scene. I hope they do something like that for Inquisition.

Gifts would be nice, indeed, but only if they don't form a core element of the relationships with companions anymore. "Oh you're sad because I killed that innocent man? Here, have some trinkets!"
And as it seems like those days are really behind us, I do still hope we can give people gifts. Like I've said before, I'd love to be able to give Josephine a painting of the ocean. Class-specific gifts sound great as well, though yeah I do wonder what some specs might come up with.

The Reaver would probably offer the decapited head of some nasty creature. Trophy and all that. ![]()

^This. As long as they are not just like "coins" where you keep giving them gifts over and over again to receive affection like most of the gifts in DAO. The fan part of me hopes that we can give Jose a pet duck like schmooples in DAO, but the realist in me knows it wont happen.

Not all gifts were meaningless. The golden mirror gift for Morrigan was a very touching moment that shed some insight into her true character. My favorite part of the Morrigan romance, in fact.
*nods in appreciation*
Tis be true, I particularly enjoyed this conversation between Morri and I after giving her the golden mirror. A touching moment that made me appreciate Morrigan that much more.
The Reaver would probably offer the decapited head of some nasty creature. Trophy and all that.
Since Reaver is my fave specialisation as a Warrior, I chuckled at this ^ as I was imagining Josie's reaction and the following scene:
Inquisitor: Here you go my lady, I hope you like it. *hands over the decapitated creature head trophy*
Josephine: *puzzled look on her face* Ah... why thank you...
Inquisitor: You are most welcome, this creature proved most resilient on the battlefield but in the end was no match for my great sword and battle prowess.
Josie: And you thought to bring it to me? How... sweet of you.
Inquisitor: *sets trophy aside* Ready for my next gift?
Josephine: *wide-eyed* Oh, one is enough Inquisitor, truly...
Inquisitor: *hands over a portrait of the Inquisitor in armour with the helmet off flashing a bright smile to Josephine* I've noticed your eyes are always glued to me so I had this commissioned by the finest artist available to me in Skyhold. I do hope you like it my lady... *winks*
Josephine: *blushes and smiles* This is... You look so dashing... You have my thanks.
Inquisitor: *kisses Josephine's cheek delicately* You are most welcome, now... I'll take that trophy off you, it would have clashed with the colour scheme present in your quarters anyway.
Josephine: What will you do with it now?
Inquisitor: Hang it over my throne of course, it'll make for great conversation. Fare thee well Josephine Montilyet, I have pressing matters to attend to and the world to save... *kisses Josephine softly on the lips* ... I count the seconds until we meet again.
Josephine: *as the Inquisitor is walking away* Come back to me safely Inquisitor, I will be patiently waiting.
Quick S/O to Vijoelante and Basement Cat for inspiring me to write the banter I generated above ![]()

I'm angry now. It seems the advisors aren't getting the images like the companions have been these last few days.

Yeah, we've known that for a few days, actually, I think. It kind of sucks but oh well, we'll get to admire her soon enough. From all sides.

Perhaps they will consider doing posters of the advisors if enough people ask for them (politely, of course)?

Doubt it. People have been asking politely for more advisor stuff for a long time now, yet nothing has come of it(well, for the others besides Cullen.).

As someone else pointed out in another thread, they didn't plan on making character profiles for the advisors and eventually made them once a lot of people got excited for Josie, Cullen and Leliana and asked for them to have one each. I'm not saying it will surely work, just that it's at least worth trying.
Of course, we shouldn't need to beg for these thing in the first place since the advisors are allegedly as important as the companions, but since the marketing seems to forget that quite often it's worth to let them hear our voices, to let them know that there are people who are also fan of these characters and would like to see more of them.

Hey, I've just heard that Josie has a new hairstyle!
Do any of you lovely people know what video it's shown in, or have any pics of it? Thanks a bunch!

Nope. No pics of Josie's new look. It's the source of much grief.

I really don't understand why they aren't being aggressive with showing the advisers' content because frankly we've seen so little of them. If they want people to call them full character paths like the companions and not Kelly/Sebastian/Iona (and they guy too I forget his name)/Samara tier they really need to show at least some of their interactions.
