Hmm well it's not like I could imagine my Dalish inquizzy in a dress but that sucks for my human noble playthrough.
Kind of odd that they wont have "magey" types of dresses, like tighter ones based off mage robes like we kinda sorta had in the past games. Ehh are mages still going to have robes or are they restriced to pants now too?
Well we did see dancing people in dresses at the ball in the Wonders of Thedas video, right? I took that comment as a statement that fighting in such a dress (because of course there will be fighting) is very difficult to animate.
Hmm, was never gonna put any of my female characters in a dress anyway so this doesn't bother me at all.
Well, after that last video I really need something good to cheer me up. Please show us some Josephine, Bioware.

After that last video? What do you mean?

I suppose it may be about today's livestream, with the character creator and some new area.

The Livestream they did. The one that ruined Female Qunari as an option for me.
Now I have no idea which race I'm going to play as(and I mean that in a negative way).

Is the hair that your Qunari has that important? So important that if you don't like the options given that you would swear off playing a Qunari? Thats a bit extreme to me but its your choice.

Considering it is a character I will be staring at for 150+ hours and can't even use helmets to hide it, yes.
I never expected long hair for the qunari
Despite them having it in DA2?

How come the Arishok had long hair then. ![]()
The "no dress" thing is a bit of a bummer, for those that wanted it, anyway ![]()
As for the qunari hair, isn't it true that they didn't show all the qunari hair options, and that hair is set separately to the horns anyway? So there might still be better hair to be had - wait for the game before making any hasty decisions!

No, hair and horns are on the same slider. And they scrolled through all of them for the female Qunari.

Huh. I'm going to have to scrutinise it closely when I actually watch it, then ![]()
The Qunari hairstyles may have been disappointing, but I'm more worried about the lack of character portrait (seriously, with the green hand icon the Inquisitor feels like a "no-person") and the limited potions and no health regeneration.

Because the Arishock had only one hair option and one set of armor so they could make sure there were no clipping issues. A Player Character, on the other hand, is going to have too many variables to ensure avoiding clipping issues so I'm not surprised. Although, I wish dreadlocks were an option.

The Qunquisitor only has 4 hair options(one being bald) so saying the Qunquisitor has more options is barely the truth.

I thought there were more than 4 types of horns you can wear though. So clearly the style of horns you took was deemed more important then the style of hair.

Which is stupid. Especially since all the horns go over the hair anyway, regardless of how long it would have been.
But I'm going to stop. I don't want this thread to have negative waves so I'll just go be depressed elsewhere.
Sorry for that, everyone.

*hugs*, hopefully the other other races will have hair styles you like.

You mean the totally awesome livestream that gave us an awful lot?
Sorry but I thought the stream was great. Sure the Qunari not having separate hair options may be a bit disappointing or the fact that Qunari get warpaint for helmets but I thought the horns/hair combinations that we did get to see were quite awesome, and the warpaint is a cool idea. Not to mention that the rest of the stream was totally awesome.
