To tell ya the truth..is scribbles is not possible as LI then her importance in game is going to be...a keep manager at best. Smth like that..coz u choose how to upgrade the Keep/castle and options Cullen , Leliana , and scribbles. So just having her as manager for mage upgrade...would be waste. And dont bring leliana into it , she has her own story from all before games...hell Cullen could also be skiped as LI for simialr reason but that would cause rage from female gamers

 

I rly hope these "advisors" gets future DLC where they become playable...if we ask nicely.

 

Actually, I was under the impression that Cullen, Leliana, and Scribbles represent the Inquisition's Military, Espionage, and Commerce divisions, respectively. They are  our advisers, after all.  Don't underestimate the importance of a solid income in an organization of this size, man! Scribbles is going to be way  more than a glorified secretary or housekeeper, regardless of whether she's an LI or not. (And odds are  looking good that she is.)

Actually, Cullen has been a confirmed LI for months. So that's not a barrier to making Scribbles one as well.

It was also confirmed that some of the advisers would be LI, implying more than one.  So if Cullen definitely is, and Leliana definitely is not, then that leaves the only other adviser Scribbles as being a LI.

Yeah, the fact they used the word some has me hopeful. I mean they already confirmed at a convention Cullen was romancable, so if he was it they'd just say Cullen.

DG confirmed in the Twitter thread that Solas will be revealed soon.  After him hopefully they'll move on to the advisers, and we'll be one step closer to learning of the Nameless One, aka Scribbles.

I asked him if the advisers were next after Solas, but he didn't reply.

I don't think the woman who spent centuries living in a shack in the middle of nowhere would be the best to handle the political and economic aspects of an international organization like the Inquisition.

That's assuming they'll actually introduce our advisors the same way they did the companions. They could just opt to talk about her in a an interview or show her interacting with the Inquisitor in some demo.

 

Though, I'm hoping our advisors will get their entries on the character page.

I'm sure they will at least get listed on the Characters page on the main website. I mean, they have Morrigan on it and she is nowhere near as crucial to the Inquisition as the three who serve as the face of it.

The thing is, Morrigan got her character entry almost as soon as she was revealed, and she's an npc. Cullen and Leliana got nothing so far.

Cameron actually said that she has a major role in the Inquisition.

I think they haven't released anything on them,mainly because their role in the game is not officially confirmed yet.
The advisers are something new in the DA series, so randomly introducing the character without properly explaining their role and purpose in the game,is bound to confuse many people who don't follow the development as closely.

If I remember correctly, Cassandra, Varic, and Morrigan were the only ones up on the Character page for the longest time, all three being characters who had a narrator role in the Inquisition trailers, and all three we know of from the previous games and know will be in DAI. I do think Morrigan will have a large role in the plot, possibly bigger than the adviser. But then, we also haven't seen anything connecting her to the Inquisition; most notably that she isn't in the big war table character spread picture. So the distinction is importance to plot verses the importance to the inquisition xD 

 

I think Morrigan's probably going to be something like a major quest giver and move the overarching plot along, but not directly associated with the inquisition, kinda playing a similar role to the Viscount, the Arishok, Loghain or even Flemeth (although not necessarily a villain) 

 

More directly relating to Scribbles though... I kinda like the idea of her being a "mugle". Make her a badass strong woman who doesn't need to know how to wield a blade to knock you down a notch. >.>

You are correct about the three characters. 

 

And I agree with wanting Acribbles to be an ordinary person and not a Mage, Rogue, or Warrior. It makes her seem that much more impressive to be in the Inquisition if she was.
