Because of Cassandra?
I wouldn't jump to conclusions so soon, when the game's not even out yet.
I agree with this

Hence why I said 'looks like' instead of a more concrete answer. ![]()
But who am I kidding. I'm not that lucky. ![]()

Oh, you shouldn't think like that. It may all work out just fine once the game launches.
And besides, having Josephine as your LI doesn't seem like such a bad thing, now does it?
Or you can just feed Cassandra lyrium. I hear it gets w her a little drunk, a bit more relax, just a tiny amount more receptive to naughty thoughts..............I sense the beginning of a bad fan fiction forming. lol
what happened to cassandra?

Why not? I have a list, a multiple page list, of things that I wanted to happen that aren't happening and things I didn't want to happen that are happening.
I know, but I would still have liked options.

It was confirmed today that the companions will have the same specializations that the Inquisitor can have(like DAO) rather than unique specializations(like DA2). And it is believed that she will be the Templar one, so she has now been reduced to a drug addict.

Hey, Bioware painted them in that light, not me.
Cassie is love, Cassie is life. I'm still gonna storm dat Casstle, high on lyrium or not.

1) You can say that of any BioWare game, really. There's so much stuff I wanted to happen that won't, but at the end of the day I just feel like the right thing to do is to accept that the more things you expect, the more disappointment will come your way. And I'd hold off being completely put off by everything going on that you feel is not right, as it may work out for the better in the actual game.
2) It seems a bit harsh and doing a disservice to Cassandra's character to write her off as "having been reduced to a drug addict" when she may have the Templar specialization.
Spoiler

Because I like you way you think.
Whelp, looks like Josephine is my only choice for a LI now.
Wait wat? What happend to Cassandra?

Shock, drama, and the denial of the pleasure of licking lyrum off of dat cass.

I answered a similar question earlier this page. Please read post #10806.
Cassandra as a drug addict? Just because its suspected that she has the templar spec?

If she is a Templar, she is one.
But I regret bringing it to this thread. I should have just left it at that one post about Scribbles being the only LI left for me.

Alistair was a templar too, wasn't he? And he didn't turn into a drug addict either.

They retconned it after Origins.
Yup, Alistair needed to assume lyrium again sometimes after DAO.
This either creates a plothole in him being fine in DAO since he'd Have been suffering from withdrawal, or makes him a Liar.
He totally sneaked it when the Warden wasn't looking. /headcanon
It's just strange he wouldn't tell the Warden. He totally sneaked it when the Warden wasn't looking. /headcanon

Oh well, there are worse things that Could happen.
Not really. He didn't tell us a lot of things. He probably only brings up him being a prince because he knew Eamon would bring it up.
