So since PW writes three companions I guess it is unlikely he also writes Scribbles. So Mary Kirby it is, I guess
Couldn't it also be Sheryl Chee?
AFAIK she's only confirmed to be writing Blackwall.

Here's hoping we get a name this week so that we get to know all 13 major NPC's!

13? I'm guessing you are counting Morrigan?
No, actually I just can't count! *blush* I was thinking 12 NPC's plus the Inquisitor = 13 (an interesting number to use for the Inquisition), so I wrote 13 instead of 12.

lol, that was my first guess but wanted to give benefit of the doubt and asked. ![]()
Yay the thread is starting to get pretty active. Guess it's a sign, salvation is near!
I can sense we are near the reveal of her name. Sometime this week.

Excitement is in the air.

Maybe not this week, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get it within a fortnight.

It's certainly possible, but she also wrote Origins Cullen and Leliana so would they have the same person do all three advisers?

It sounds like a way of keeping things organized and Sheryl is pretty good at writing support characters that always try to help and have troubled pasts. Perhaps Scribbles is like this as well if she is writing her?

If so, what would her troubled past be?

I remember reading her writings make Kings and Queens tremble. Perhaps she had some trouble with a ruler along the line and it might come back to bite her.

That could be. Having that power over rulers would make enemies. Perhaps she was on the run for her life from some group, for example the Antivan Crows, before finding sanctuary in the Inquisition's ranks.

The fact we are almost 50 pages despite knowing less than half a dozen things is surprising.
So do we know anything about this chick right now?
I have a feeling that "Scribbles" (FYI, I'll laugh if this is Varric's in-game nickname for her) may be a surprise plot-important character. But, that's just WMG for now.

Well, we know she is a she, she is black, she owns a blue and gold dress, and she is involved with the Inquisition enough to be in the trailers. Anything other than that is speculation.
I'd laugh too if it was, as well as love Bioware even more than I do now. And yeah, as more time goes by with nothing to go on but her supposedly being the 'political pillar', aka the adviser in charge of the political/economic aspect of the Inquisition, the more I think there is something about her backstory that makes her more hush hush than even Cole.
WMG?

I don't think she is ethnically black by RL standards, more of that deep brown of known Rivaini characters. Like Duncan and Isabela for example.

True. I've always thought she is either Rivaini or possibly Antivan due to being next door to Rivain for this reason.
Please be a Lucrosian, please be a Lucrosian...
I think that would be an interesting mage perspective we haven't seen yet.
If she has to be a Mage, then I agree I hope she is from the Lucrosian fraternity.
It's not terribly farfetched either, considering she is the political/financial advisorIf she has to be a Mage, then I agree I hope she is from the Lucrosian fraternity.

There really isn't a lot of room for a Lucrosian to thrive in the current climate

If they drop Solas "official" interview tomorrow, then maybe have her Profile drop Wednesday/Thursday and then interview on Friday!
