I think that as long as the Warden never hooked up with Lelianna and the Quizzie doesn't pursue Josie, there's no issue, but that's just me.
(And Kallen, maybe you'd be more comfortable romancing Josie in a Warden/Lelianna import because there's no way they'd have a relationship in that save? Providing that they're a canon ship, of course. This may be pure speculation.)
As I Said before, I don't care if Josie and Leliana ends up together or had a relationship in The past, but I don't see anything in yesterday's scene that implies that. I saw friends acting in similar way (well, Without The Assassin plot setting
).

I'm just so happy that we have two awesome women who are good friends. Because let's face it, female/female friendships are not very common in video games. We get a lot of bromances (and I like them too) but not nearly as many female ones. So I'm really looking forward to seeing more of their interactions.

This is how I saw it too. It reminded me of my baby sister who is also prone to making plans with approximately 87 unnecessary steps and who sometimes needs help seeing the simplest path to what she wants XD.

After I got offline last night, I did some calculations:
Dragon Age: Inquisition has to happen at least in 9:42, since Last Flight happens from 9:41-9:42 with no mention of the Breach.
Josephine's writer Sylvia has said that Josephine's age range is 27-29, so she was born in 9:13-9:15.
Dragon Age: Origins happened 12 years ago, so Josephine was 15-17 during that game.
Leliana was hiding in Lothering for a couple years before that, so when she ran away Josephine was 13-15 years old.
Bioware's reaction to those asking for a Cole romance was he has the mentality of a child in that respect so wouldn't be appropriate
So we can conclude that they due to Bioware not desiring to have underaged people involved in that kind of relationship, that Josephine and Leliana were not lovers in the past. Whether they develop those feelings in Inquiition is still unknown.
Sort of completely off-topic, but! My friend BJ is doing an Extra Life stream on Saturday to raise money for a local children's hospital, and I'm going to be joining him since we are gaming buddies and I want to help I figured I'd share here since you guys are awesome and whatnot???

I think we're going to be playing some Borderlands PreSequel if people don't want to be spoiled on the plot since it's a new game, but we're also most likely going to play some Borderlands 2 Ultimate Vault Hunter mode, as well as some L4D2 since I have a hankering to play it a bit this weekend. I have no idea what time we're going to get started, but since we have three games on the roster, I imagine we're going to be playing most of the day, during the day/evening, West Coast time since my group for this (BJ, Beth, Lorena, and I) are all in Washington and California. I don't know how BJ's stream is set up, but if he's allowing comments then I'd love to say hi, though I definitely don't want to co-opt the stream with Dragon Age talk. (Not that our team isn't all really excited for DA:I, but you know)
Even barring that, we're huge goofballs so it'll be entertaining nonetheless. I rolled team support build Claptrap for BLPS and have a farting OZ kit attached, so if you're like me and laugh harder at fart jokes than you should, then you'll find it pretty hilarious. (We also have Beth as Nisha, BJ as Athena, and Lorena as Wilhelm, so if you want to ask questions about gameplay styles and build one of us can definitely answer!) Ultimate Vault Hunter mode is really ridiculous and we get our asses kicked in a good way, and my Siren (lovingly named Brick because she's the prettiest) is a huge aggro magnet, so you can watch me set everything on fire. Beth, BJ, and I are a two Siren + Commando team that's been playing together for a while, so we have a fun time. And as a Borderlands break, I'm pushing for us to play some L4D2, which will be hilarious not only as we struggle to get used to the controls again after so much Borderlandsing (WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S NOT MY ACTION SKILL), but also fun because I'm even more Leeroy Jenkins in that game than ever since I play melee-only. Also, I take a lot of Peelz.

As Elder King pointed out in the Leliana thread, before Leliana left she was in love with Marjolaine, so lower the ages of both even more and yeah supporting them having a past relationship as lovers goes to a very dark place.
