So what do you guys think will the way to Josie's heart be like? A straight way to the finish line - or more a road full of thornbushes and roadblocks?

I really would like to see that our hero/ine has to overcome some obstacles on his/her way to conquer the beloved. Imagine Josephine would have been promised to someone (against her will of course) and you had to have find a way to put him out of the race - by one mean or the other...

Or that she dislikes you at the beginning and you have to find a way to gain her trust and friendship first...

 

What I mean is as much fun it surely will be to charm her by your wit and character and to have nice conversations it perhaps would be the same fun (or even more) to have to really conquer her heart or free it from some burdens.

 

But maybe I am the only one who would like this challenge...

I highly doubt that she will be against us at first, since her profile and interview states that she is in support of the Inquisitor just as much as the Inquisition, where the others have the Inquisition above the Inquisitor at first. 

 

With how Bioware has described her romance and comparing it to the other romances that were described in similar ways(Merrill and Tali for example), I think Josephine is going to fall for the Inquisitor hard and it will be an adorable romance.

I really doubt it. I get the impression that Josephine romantic arc is more soft and cute. I was expecting the arc to be more humm political, complicated with a lot of verbal sparing but she looks like to be on a more calm side than let us say Cassandra or Sera.

Also the though about putting someone "out of the race" is kind creepy, I really hope that is not the case.

Ok so I even "created" a little scene in my mind, call me extreme if you want.

 

-Inquisitor and Josephine somehow find themselves in that room balcony while sunset

-INQ: do you see that sunset? our love will never be like that, it will rise from ground to sky forever...

-JOSIE: ...until end of the life...

-INQ:  ..I will love you forever in my heart, doesnt matter how much time we speak in different opinions..

-JOSIE: ..doesnt matter how much we see ourselves in different places...or even in different situations..

-INQ:  Our relationship will makes us stronger, more bigger than our hearts

-JOSIE:  ...more smarter, more beautiful...

-INQ:  I will not lost you even I-   (Josephine puts her finger into Inquisitor's mouth)

-JOSIE: (slowly whispers into Inquisitor's ear) sshhh... we will always in our each others hearts whatever happens...

-INQ: I love you

 

and finally, both characters will kiss and a very long hug

Depends on what you mean by challenge. 

 

Both of them are not very challenging sex-wise. You can bed both of them very easily.

 

Both of them are challenging romance-wise, however. But you can say the same thing with most DA love interests. They are always going to be challenging romance-wise. Except Merrill maybe.

Lady Josephine Montilyet reminds me of Duchess Satine Kryze. Especially after that scene involving the assassins and how she wants to deal with them. 

 

So who knows, you might get your political, verbal sparring romance arc after all. Especially if you remember how Satine was with Obi Wan in the series.

I always saw Josephine as more of a Riyo Chuchi than Satine Kryze personally.

I really hope she's more of the mentally strong women, As would be needed if someone had her job and in your attempt to romance her, you constantly have to trick her into revealing her true emotions or attractions to the PC. Seeing as she makes her living as a diplomat she's skilled in verbal warfare and would have the skills needed to debate someone to the point that they would let slip information that would discredit them. so personally, though her LI pathway might be "sweet" i could see it being a great mental challenge if the Dev's planned her out the way i personally do. can't wait till the 18th to begin wooing her character.

Padme Amidala is a really good character....In the books and cartoons...Actually, all the Star Wars characters were good in the books and the cartoons...Many of them do not translate very well into the movies...

 

Josephine = Padme + Satine + Leia. 

 

I expect the romance arc for Josephine to be mentally challenging.

 

I mean, you are essentially dating a politician, an ambassador and a diplomat. You need to have your verbal and mental skills fully working. 

 

Or...

 

You need to be an alpha-male swagtastic badboy Inquisitor like Han Solo was.

 

I can just imagine the dialogue now...

 

 

Josephine: Why, you stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking Nug herder...

Inquisitor: Who's scruffy-looking?

I've got a list and Josephine is high up I've set aside a lovely dwarf rogue for her but the order of it keeps changing. Mostly going with Bull first because of the Inquisitor I want to use first she wouldn't get along well with Josephine I think five of the eight romances are on my list and she is very high up who knows I may want to romance her so much I'll set aside the Inquisitor I've been planning for a while to romance her
