Well, according to the files that were posted with the romance one Blackwall isn't actually a Grey Warden, so wouldn't have the Taint inside him and thus wouldn't go on The Calling.

 

 

I don't put much stock in rumors and supposed "leaked" files that spring on these forums lately. My impression is that a lot of these so called "reveals" are just meant to rile up others and cause a uproar.

 

But even if what you say is true, my original question still stands: Why do you believe Blackwall would be a better choice for Josephine than your Inquisitor?

as far as I know, story always directs the player to recruit everyone...?

I'm sure you can choose not to recruit people. 

 

Even if you cannot, you can always reduce his approval to the point that he decides to leave the Inquisition.

Sorry to bring this back up but I wish to address this here since it was a discussion a few pages ago. 

 

After a long, sleepless night due to a lot of things on my mind, I think I have actually come up with a way to explain why I am uncomfortable with nudity in Dragon Age: Inquisition. To put in as simple of terms as possible, it is because I have yet to create an emotional bond with the characters in DAI. This epiphany started while I was playing Halo: The Master Chief Collection and the realization that I was not bothered at all by Cortana's appearance even though she takes the visage of a nude woman. This made me wonder why she didn't bother me but the Cassandra shot and the implications of it did. Then I remembered that there were other nude characters in various media that I also wasn't disturbed by. I wondered what they had in common and why DAI was the exception and that is when the lack of an emotional bond idea came to me. So hopefully if I am correct on the reason, then after playing Dragon Age: Inquisition and the bonds form the nudity will no longer bother me.

I can confirm you have the option whether to recruit Blackwall or not. It's entirely optional. As is with other companions.

I've always found it baffling that the only part of a woman's breast that is considered scandalous (and enough for the term "nudity" to be thrown around) is the one that is pretty much identical to its male equivalent.

 

It defies reason, I tell you.

The Inquisitor is a pretty flexible character, or at least it's supposed to be. Unless something inherent about him/her distresses you or you're designing him/her intentionally to be a poor match, I don't see why you would consider the relationship below the level.

Some people dont want to see nude content, because they are extremely religious.

Some people dont want to see nude content, because they have very strict opinions about women's body.

Some people want to see nude content, because they are modern peoples.

Some people want to see nude content, because they dont have very strict opinions about women's body.

 

Its really all about matter of opinion/perspective, some people have different tastes while others dont even want to see legs.

 

Its not needed to enter deep opinions/matters. Lets just enjoy the game.
