So I surrendered and used VPN to unlock the game. My grades are going to suffer but w/e.

I'm so happy I got the game to run on my laptop too! Managed to avoid shiny hair too and I think I can tone up a couple of things from low to medium and still have 30 FPS.

I'll post pictures of my inquisitor once I somehow know how to take a screen shot

Glad to hear you could get DAI to run on your laptop.

 

Any chance you could post your specs? Want to see how mine compare and what kind of performance I can expect.

Intel Core i7 (I think it's 4700mq or something) - @2.4 GHz not overclocked
AMD 8750M 2GB

 

I'm running textures and effects on medium with mesh on high (no shiny hair) with the rest either off or low and I'm playing quite smoothly not sure about fps tho, I'd guess around 40.

 

Oh also remember to update your graphics driver

It's a great experience I'm pleasantly surprised and glad I'll be spending my next year or so playing in a decent quality till I get a serious rig

You can romance Josephine as any race or gender.

I have a question and I apologize if it sounds stupid. But it the two conversations I've had with Josie; I haven't seen a flirt option come up for my female Trevelyen Inquisitor. I wonder if I'm clicking the wrong options, but are there ones further along that I can click to flirt with her?

I know from a future mission ( it was in the guide book) that she has a former suitor that challenges you to a duel for her love. And she stops it. The man then leaves without any further incident. I think it's connected to the running and jumping into your arms scene/gif from the trailer. But I haven't gotten that far so don't take my word on the last part.

I was wondering the same thing, but I did have some flirt options show up in later conversations (and her reactions were fabulous)! I think she just doesn't have flirt options as early on as some of the others.

I was going to romance Cassandra originally but after hearing Josephine talk (and accidentally seeing that one screenshot of Cassandra), I think I'm leaning towards Josephine now.

Oh, spicy. I was starting to think her romance was going to be kind of boring, but this kind of quest would surely be humurous.

I got the Beloved and Precious achievement, yeah. And we were in love and all that and at the end
