As much as I wish I had time right now to go over everything you said, I do not. I would just like to point out that you're basically arguing with strangers online who don't find an animated sex scene necessary to enjoy a romance arc because you need some sort of fulfillment that you will only achieve through the use of nudity in a video game. 

 

You don't have to agree with me the way I don't agree with you, and that's fine. At the end of the day, this is a fantasy adventure game. Not a dating sims game. 

 

I kind of find it a bit troubling that people can actually have a problem with pixelated intimate romantic moment in a video game. Because for them it means p0rn since it might actually have a minisculous moment of possible, partial nudity.

Because said pixel scenes are always horribly animated and poorly done. TW2 scenes still make me cringe.

I am a Cassandra fan first and foremost, but is it really that important to actually show the Inquistor & Josie having sex?

 

You know, not every intimate moment has to be a "deep & meaningful" moment.

 

From what i have seen Josie & the Inquisitor have their important dialogue out of bed.

 

So for all we know, their sex dialogue would just be made up of possible loud exclamations & sweet nothings from both parties.

 

 

Not really sure about all the other characters, but with Cassandra i felt like their "pillow" talk actually had a very good purpose, it establishes Cassy's faith in you (whatever you like it or not) and you can recipocrate by telling you belive in her).

You're really upset there's no sex scene. We get it. Most people in this thread don't seem to feel that way. Or at least don't feel that strongly about it. You're trying to project some sort of deeper meaning or cries of censorship that just... don't exist.

I'd like to step in and comment that it's fine to be disappointed.  Making suppositions about other posters who like different content, however, starts to cross the line and will see increased scrutiny going forward.

 

If it comes across like you're shaming someone because they don't feel the need for an unambiguous sex segment of the romance (and vice versa, lets not mock those that do enjoy it) then action may be taken.  We all have our preferences.

Allan beat me to it, but I am pretty tired of the "It's not a dating sim" type comments at this point, not just in this thread but in the forums. The romances are important to people, this should be plainly obvious to everyone by now. There is no point in trying to somehow "nerd shame" people who wanted a different romance etc like they're somehow pathetic for having different tastes or being critical.

Well, if you are referring to the House of Reposte quest, then Josephine isn't happy you went with Leliana's way but I don't know if it ruins the chance to romance Josephine. Just to be safe, for her personal missions do it the way Josephine wants it done just to be safe.

I used Leliana's route and it didn't effect my approval rating with Josephine. I don't know if going the diplomatic route means you get positive approval from Josephine though.

Strictly speaking I am not that disappointed. Some though. It only grinds my gears when I (or someone else) advocates for mature content, preferably actual romantic intimacy, in a supposedly mature game and then you get bunch of people jumping you with "omg you want pixel porn/boobs/need a life/horny teen" witty comebacks.

I believe it requires accepting a war table mission.

If you go somewhere else in the map and then go back to her office again it must trigger if I remember.

This is fine, provided you make no insinuations about those for whom it does hold appeal, and accept that your experience would not have been harmed in any way had they included a skippable sex scene.

I doubt they'll include it in DLC if there's something like Citadel maybe her second scene will have on screen sex rather than ftb with clothes on but I highly doubt they'll modify her current lovescene.
