Hope springs eternal. And it wouldn't destroy it in any case; that was never in danger of happening. It was a false concern.

For you, just making a scene to show her ****** would be poor taste, If they do a sex scene int he future they will do it because they want to and make it fit, if she even got one it woulds probably be like Cullens anyways as both romances focues more on dialog and other forms of intimacy then sex.

You don't have to focus on sex, per se, but show that it was done and not be coy about it. At least for my narrative/emotional preference. Were it porn I was asking for... that'd be pointless because one simply doesn't have to ask for porn, it's everywhere.

After waiting for so long for a romance that doesn't include pre-marital sex, can I please enjoy that luxury? I mean every other romance in any Bioware game aside from Sebastian (and even his is completely chaste; something I wouldn't want) has one, so can Josephine please be allowed to have her romance path stay as it is? Thanks.

Are people still arguing about this? I'm completely fine with Josie not having a sex scene. Her personal quest is pretty fun to do and her interactions with Leliana, few as they are, are delightful. They have such an awesome sisterly relationship. Leliana is definitely the big sister.

Some of the judgments with Josie are hilarious too.

May someone who hasn't played the romance offer an opinion?

A sex scene is not necessary for a romance arc, or for eroticism. The most sexually charged moment in ME for me was turning down Miranda for sex. However, there does need to be a sense that they find each other sexually desirable.

Yes, provided you let us have the sex scene if we so choose and just let it be skippable. Removing it altogether is no better than including an unskippable one.

I hang out in the Sera thread mostly. And of course I've been playing. The three advisors chit chatting around the war table can be pretty funny too.

Apparently Josie is not that chast as we are let to believe. She apparently went to a sex orgy with Leliana right the night they met, this from Leliana so it should be accurate. And yet pc is forced to disney romance arc. Nice.

That is not what Leliana said at all. Character spoilers below.

question, do you actually get to fight the dual or is that a cut-scene?

Does anyone know how to end a relationship with josephine?

I know its suppose to be as simple as choosing the broken heart icon whenever you speak to her but ever since I completed her personal sidequest "An Unexpected Engagement" the option has since vanished from her dialogue.

Am I in to deep with Josephine? Is there a way to work around this? I really want to start romancing Cassandra and I was told that to pursue another romance, you must end things between a previous romance.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

As one who has played the romance, I did get the sense that they find each other sexually desirable, though the clearest moment (if I remember right the text you see explicitly calls out wanting to spend time alone later and the tone of voice is one generally associated with that kind of talk between two lovers who desire each other in a sexual way to at least some degree...though still open to interpretation for those that prefer the relationship more chaste) was based on a conversation choice late in the game during a late game mission, and you don't even have to talk to her at that moment and can actually miss it entirely.

It's a cut-scene with dialog options.

As far as I know, once you've completed An Unexpected Engagement then you've committed to the relationship and I know of no way to break it off after that point.

I disagree. That is not necessary for a romantic relationship at all.

I find it odd that the Bioware community has been so positive about including gay romances in order to be as inclusive as possible, but think it is OK to exclude those who would rather have a romantic but non-sexual relationships.

Thanks for telling me. I just wish I had known sooner. My save at that point Is long gone. I guess I'll just have to catch her on a second play through.

Ridiculous. We have no agenda in that regard; I'm perfectly fine with making sex scenes skippable. What I'm not fine with is removing them altogether.

No, I don´t think so. If someone says "panties are hanging in the wall" it is most likely a rather hot party where no disney princess would linger.
