Well, she doesn't see the flirts as flirts. She just thinks you are being nice and complimentary. She even says that in one of the scenes.

The duel and the cuddle by the fire is that last full scene dedicated to the romance, but there are still lines that change if you are in a relationship with her.

first, then do the Winter Palace quest, Josephine flirt option at the gates disappears. Anyone else had that? It's annoying me.

I think it may be a bug of some sort. I haven't done the duel and there wasn't a flirt option at the gate for me. Did anyone get the option?

It's been a while since I've come to these boards, but the awesomeness that is Josephine lured me back. It's great to see there's others that love her character as much I do -- not that I really had any doubts. But she completely blindsided me going in. I didn't expect her to supplant Leliana as my favorite.

 

As for the Winter Palace, that flirt is an odd one. It seems to depend on what you've done first. I've gotten it once -- prior to going to Adamant or the duel. You don't get it if you've visited Adamant before going there, though some of what Josephine says changes accordingly. Hard to say if it's meant to be a bug or a design choice.

I went human, male, mage.

 

It's odd... In DA: O and DA 2, I could at least try out different classes and/or races, but I don't think I'm going to be able to do that here. I think I've got it in my head that my Herald's a Trevelyan mage and he's going Josie. Every. Time.

Not necessarily. You should be safe, if you go to the Winter Palace before Adamant and the duel. I'm still trying to figure out what causes this to pop up.

Made a female elf assassin that romanced her. Just beat the game today and it was a very fulfilling romance. Both adorable and hilarious.

As is virtually omnipresent for bisexual women companions, no. One more triumph of Josephine.

Working on her with my male human rogue. I just really like their sort-of "shared" history (okay, not really shared, but she attended his aunt's parties...that sort of counts, right?) and I think her parents would have less objections to her marrying a fellow noble than, say, a carta thug. Plus it makes the duel scene make a little more sense, because most nobles were trained in the art of dueling and would thus know how to use a rapier efficiently, whereas an elf/dwarf/Qunari wouldn't.

Ugh I feel kind of guilty for romancing Josephine. I always had my eyes on Cassandra even before the game launched. But Josephine put out early so I just went her way.

Didn't know there was "no turning back" once you commit to a relationship. But this is my very first bioware game so cut me some slack.

I don't remember why Josephine for my Female Elf Mage.  Usually I don't have much of a hang up over love.  I chose someone for my characters because I don't want them to be alone.  (lame I'm sure)

 

I can attest that I don't spend much time with this.  Such a sweet path though.  I will struggle to not go down the same romance path for my Dwarven Archer.

Well, I think that it is a feature of this romance - no nudity and etc. But I admit, bio could at least show us how they wake up together or something like that.
