I need to make sure I didn't mess something up. Approximately when should I get the chance to lock in the romance? The last time I flirted with her was asking for a stroll (she was oblivious) and now I'm paranoid I missed my chance by going to the Coast with Blackwall but declining to commit.

You're still pretty early ^_^, you'll get to establish the romance after her personal quest (which is very soon in your case), and you lock in a bit later (after gift+ main quest).

How old is Josephine? Before the game was released most people though she was about 25. How old do you think she is now?

The only bit of information I could find about her age is that she threw a grand ball in Leliana's honor ten years before the game starts.

Since I'm having trouble seeing a fifteen year organizing a ball she must be atleast 35.

It is possible to make an analogy with Middle Ages, where 16-18 years old was fully adult person. I think Josephine is around 30.

She's 27-29 according to her writer.

I actually did her personal quest. No flirtatious options, just the bit about propaganda.

Never mind. Romance officially kindled.

Just finished my first playthrough with Cass romance.

Eagerly started my second one with a few different choices this time, including romance. I'm romancing Josie with my same Inquisitor all over again, Quizzy Adaar.

Halfway through and I constantly ask myself, WHY does Josie X Adaar pairing feel so right?! Liek, I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way. :P

I followed her suggestion. She made good points and I was able to still make friends with the other through a different way.

She is aware that Tevinter unofficially supported the takeover in Redcliffe, right? Not to mention that they may not have a lot to offer due to their constant quiet war with the qunari.

If you are a noble, you can use a dialog option to establish relationship with both sides.

Star Wars was rated PG. DAI is rated M. This analogy is deeply false.

An apple is red, doesn't mean all red things are apples.

Enough of the whole "its an M rated game, = needs pixle boobs and asses"

there relationship is just fine, you don't need a sex scene to think of them having sex. geez people grow an imagination.

Was going to because I agree with her assessment of the King of Nevarra. But as a human apparently I can have Josephine work on an alliance with Tevinter while

Thinking about Josephine's age made me realize that part of the reason I enjoy Bioware games so much in the past few years is that they're not about teenagers really, y'know, the whole JRPG thing of teenagers saving the world, like, these are adults, people my age, and older, that we can interact with and get to know.  I used to be a huge Final Fantasy fan, but my interest began to wane when the young teenager Vaan was chosen as FFXII's protagonist instead of Basch (the really cool older soldier with an interesting past).  It's a nice feeling to have the games I play reflect my age bracket.  I'm kind of rambling and off-topic here, but the basic point is

I love Dragon Age boom!

You know something? I don't think we actually know much about Josephine. And while my Inquisitor and her are very compatible in personality and seem like they could talk about a heck of a lot (mostly in regards to social and political issues with magic, elves, and more), we don't really get a chance to hear her opinion about, well, much. She's easygoing, to be sure, and it's nice not to have to worry about approval ratings when the numbers are invisible (though, funnily enough, Sera and Cassandra are the only companions with whom I don't have a large general trajectory up or down--it's up for everyone else except Vivienne), I really wish we had more chances to talk to the person for whom talking is a specialty.

I think it's more or less because of the other 2 who are with her are characters we're quite familiar with. While I think we have enough, I definitely do agree that I wish she had a couple of more conversations.

I also really, really don't get why she does that leg lift when romancing my Inquisitor, who as an elf woman, is significantly shorter than she.

And I want to talk about the Grey Wardens at Adamant. And more on the future of Orlais. And how the Dalish are doing following those Lavellan operations (where Josephine is worse than useless to the point where it's kind of amusing how she can get your clan killed three-five different ways), and what their advancement might mean for the future of the elves as a whole. And the freedom of the Circle. And and and...

There aren't that many ands. We know her stance on the chantry. She's neutral about mages/templars. What I'd like to know is what she thinks of the wardens and Orlais condition as a whole, as well as how she'd improve the circle and elves. I do notice that non of the advisors remark on any of your race war tables though, sad.

EDIT: As for the leg lift; it adds to her charm. It's a fairy tale thing the way I see it, the perfect kiss always involves a leg lift ^-^

Just finished Leliana's side quest and there's a part in the conversation with her where she mimics Josephine and says in a hilarious fake accent 'Niceness before knives Leliana, haven't I always told you.' I laughed so much, I adore their friendship cjalkqw XD

I loved that as well.

And I agree, their friendship is very well done. Of all the friendships Bioware has made between NPCs, this one is definitely the strongest.
