You know something? I don't think we actually know much about Josephine. And while my Inquisitor and her are very compatible in personality and seem like they could talk about a heck of a lot (mostly in regards to social and political issues with magic, elves, and more), we don't really get a chance to hear her opinion about, well, much. She's easygoing, to be sure, and it's nice not to have to worry about approval ratings when the numbers are invisible (though, funnily enough, Sera and Cassandra are the only companions with whom I don't have a large general trajectory up or down--it's up for everyone else except Vivienne), I really wish we had more chances to talk to the person for whom talking is a specialty.

 

That's an interesting point. It would be nice to get to know her better. Perhaps we'll get some more insight into her character in DLC? Revas Lavellan never romanced her (or anyone, really), but she was always nice (and I liked that we had become good friends towards the end of the story), and even went out of her way to make certain that no one was acting racist towards him for being Dalish during the early part of the storyline.

Just finished the Joesphine romance, I have to say initially I was leaning towards Cass but hers is very special in its own way. Seems more genuine (not that Cassandra's isn't) and realistic. It's also a plus that the ending isn't left open to interpretation. Gonna be tough deciding who to romance in future playthroughs.

I had a little chat with Josie after I became Inquisitor. Apparently the rumor mill caught on fire after that because people were matching the Inquisitor with just about everyone. The convo went something like this (paraphrased):

 

Inquisitor: Really? And who does rumor say is my lover?

 

Josie: *huff* Who isn't? Cassandra, Leliana, Mother Giselle, Cullen and a count named Philip. I'm pretty sure that last one doesn't exist.

 

 

She names more, but I forget who. Still, she sounded so exasperated.

I forget. It might have been a Bann or some minor noble title, but I'm sure he had a title. The line was hilarious though. I wanted to ask if the rumors were putting me with one of these people or all of them at once, but alas, that option wasn't there.

I love the duelling scene, reminds me of the Princess Bride and a little of Disney. I hope we can meet the rest of her family and see their reactions to Josie's love for us. Hopefully it'll be less awkward due to me being a Human Male, I might lose points for being a Mage, but at least I am descended from nobility.

I thought the dueling scene was surprisingly well done. Really does remind me of a Disney princess story of sorts.

 

I also like the fact that the Inquisitor outright says the L word there instead of being cryptic or shying away.

So far only Cassandra, Dorian, Cullen, and Sera mention the romance, this was one of my favorites.

This is sort of off topic, but I heard somewhere that Cole talks about your LI if you make certain choices in his personal quest and if you choose something dialogue wise when you talk with him in Val Royeux. Can anyone confirm if this is true? I personally didn't get anything.

How does the dueling scene play out if the Inquisitor is a dwarf? Mainly the twirling part since she's clearly taller in this case and not shorter or of similar height. Does the Inquisitor hold her above his head?

Well I said I'd playthrough this romance and I did. I drowned in seas of sugar and literally was on the verge of vomiting. That's not me insulting this, by the way, it's just....just....ugh. I can't find the words.
