I am debating between Sera and Josie for my fem!Mage!Tevelyan. Someone sell me on Josie? Sera is a lot of fun, so it might be hard.

I was curious about this too, does he pick her up by her legs lol?
He grabs her hips still. It looks ok. It's clear with how dwarves are built that they're plenty strong enough to do something like that. They actually did a good job with all the dwarf romance animations. Josephine just leans down a little when they kiss. rather than the inquisitor growing several inches or anything like that.
Also, really liking the romance. Really cute.

Josie Josie Josie. Lots of love and romance. Though if you're interested in seeing a more.. physical relationship, gotta say Sera.

Hmm, weird then. The conversation wasn't exactly as I quoted but to that effect. I think it was when you first initiated dialogue with Josephine in the winter palace. ![]()

I made a joke about romancing her and if people are offended I'm sorry about this. If I wanted to spend a ton of hours doing boring tasks and not get any action? Well I'm already married in real life and it provides that kind of gameplay.
On a serious note, Jose's romance was extremely dull and I think contributed to the average feeling aspects overall towards the main campaign for me.

I find it shallow to judge a romance based on whether or not it had a sex scene. Having done both Cass and Josephine's romance arcs, you really get the feeling that Josie cares a lot about the inquisitor. That isn't to say that Cassandra doesn't, but the way they executed Josie's romance with dialogue and interactions, it felt more natural and affectionate.

I saw her full romance. It was indeed sweet and truly romantic (even as a female human mage (which reminds me of how a female Qunari mage must feel)) but something tells me that getting involved with the Ambassador of the Inqusition might cause issues at the war table.

So how do I get the quest where I duel Lord Dickhead? I've been trying to figure out how to trigger it but it doesn't seem to want to start.

Either after Adamant, or after both Adamant and Winter Palace.

Does dueling Lord Otranto after winter palace remove the romance scenes during that mission, I wonder? I did my duel before.

Apparently some people even got the dance scene without the duel.

I guess that makes sense, since you're still in the romance.

You can even dance with her without beign in a romance.
I never flirted with her during my first playthrough since I went for Cass, but I messed it up.

I wonder if the Inquisitor will keep his/her mark forever.
Because I imagine that when my Mage and Josephine settle down for the evening, instead of the fire hazard of bringing a Candle into the bed for a light source, my Inq can just make his hand glow.
Hm, if I could draw this would be the 2nd priority drawing I would do.

I think it's a pretty shallow perspective to judge the quality of a romance arc by whether or not one sees the sex. "Boobs or GTFO" is a pretty juvenile attitude, there are plenty of other venues out there if one really need to view sexual intercourse. Also, kind of crappy to be badmouthing your wife on a forum.

There are extremely good reasons for wanting a sex scene that have nothing to do with porn.
That being said, I just replayed the romance scene, and I liked it rather more this time. In part due to my better mood, in part because I realized that Otranto... lived in Val Royeaux for some reason and hadn't just randomly gone there, in part because I fully comprehended this time that the Inquisitor was clearly losing the duel and wasn't just nonsensically skilled with a rapier... but mostly because I realized that Josephine is very clearly feeling up the female Inquisitor on the couch, and that sort of synchronicity between sweetness and sexuality is exactly what I like. So, in the end, while I still don't consider it ideal, it worked out.
