I didn't find the duel odd for F/F.  I mean obviously it'd be odd in a real world historical setting, but that's not Thedas.  And we're duelling to stop a marriage, not have one ourselves.

So this is the reason my Qunari PC basically went stoopid everytime Josie was in the same room as he was.

Figured this was the best place to come with my question. I have talked to Ms Montilyet and she has confided in me regarding her family's financial circumstances. I told her not to worry, that I would go with her to VR and talk to this comte dude about her couriers. I cannot get to VR. What must I do to trigger this quest?

What do you mean, you can't get to VR? It doesn't appear on your world map?

Second of all - when I try to access VR on the war table it comes up with JM's card and meeting the chantry quest is completed. I can't choose it and then travel there.

You should be able to access Val Royeaux from the regular world map, not the war table itself.

I have the most annoying bug ever. My game plays normally, but every time I go to Val Royeaux my disk becomes unreadable and shuts down. I am trying to do Joesephine's romance, but first I need to finish her personal quest. This bug started just before the last mission of her personal quest, and it seems to be too late to just destroy the contract. Any help would be appreciated, but commiseration works too.

How long has this problem persisted? Does it only happen in Val Royeaux? You can try questing in other places a bit then trying again, or post on the technical support section :S

The problem has persisted for a couple of days. I try going there at least once a day, sometimes more often. It only seems to affect Val Royeaux, but I haven't unlocked all the areas yet. I've posted in tech support, but no one seems to have an answer. I'm going to do other missions until this gets better, but the fact that no one else seems to be having this problem worries me.

Darndest thing. I found Josephine's romance a bit bland for reasons that aren't important. So I rolled another Cadash for Blackwall. Said Cadash informs me she wants Josie if she can't have Cassandra. Because in some ways Josie is a symbol. Cadash wants to leave her criminal past behind and really wants to be the Herald because the carta and dwarf culture offer her nothing. And Josephine being aghast at Cadash's criminal past aside, she offers that new life in a way other choices don't.

I'd be worried as well :S I'm really sorry. Did you try another save? Just to test.

Yeah. I've tried it on three different characters. No luck.

Deep down Josie is a Antivan Crow Assassin undercover gathering information on the inquisition. She was a bard at one time after all. All pure speculations though.

Too bad there won't be an Alternate Appearance Pack thing. I would have liked this an option for her outfit and hairstyle.

Looks like Josie was originally supposed to be straight. I mean, f/f duel? Her arc is the best suited for a nobleman.

 

Btw, loved the romance, guys may cry about lack of romances for straight males, but I think that we got best options once again. Cass and Josie are both amazing.

The only thing that's odd is when Josephine is significantly taller. But remember Thedas doesn't have the same gender stereotypes we do. I'd bet money she was alwats bisexual. No reason f/f players can't have a "fight for the lady's hand" fantasy. She suits my Cadash regardless.

I must be the only one who doesn't flirt with Josephine until after doing the mage/templar quest
