Yes. You walk into her office for your reports (morning kiss), and when you open the door a swan runs out of the room. You then have to catch the swan. But, as the swan runs it drops notes that that say "The Maker wrath turn me into this" or if your a mage "The Inquisitor cursed me". When you catch the swan you will find the ransom note, And you will have to work with Leliana to get her back. 

 

Am I the only one who thinks that Josephine's romance to be "true" Disney, it needs some kind of random musical number?

 

I mean, Cass gets that poetry recital in a moonlight glade, so it's not like overblown declarations of love aren't our Inquisitor's thing?

 

(And besides, Tali got a song in the Citadel DLC, even if it was both adorable and a tad cringe-worthy at the same time)

I think Otranto is the honorable sort. He basically bows out of the duel after he realizes the two characters love each other, and that it wasn't just a fling. Having him hire the Crows to off you in the DLC would be out of character, IMO. 

 

He ended up being one of my favorite minor characters in the game.

 

I'd agree. Buuuut what if he was being deceptive because he wasn't ready to deal with the matter? Anyway I doubt we'll be seeing any more of Otranto

Does her singing The Dawn Will Come in the group count? 

 

If not, we do have an entire DLC cycle to go with this game. Maybe if they do another Citadel-style DLC where it is a lot about just companion interactions we'll get it.

Ehhh I think he is more likely to just try and marry Yvette then try to woo Josie away from the PC.
Cause I mean 1 time he escapes with some dignity or a cut arm.

If he tries it again I think most Inquisitors are just going to go Rocky 4 on him and say : I must break you.
I mean we dont do Monty Python shout outs can we at least do Rocky shout outs?

It is a new gem that can only be forged by the heat and density of the Inquisitor's love for Josephine: Scribblesium.

It's not the shade really since I believe that it is quite difficult to distinguish between the two based on that, it's the shape. Emeralds have a more cubic shape when put on rings, jades are more oval, and I don't see any edges so I'm guessing its oval

EDIT: Hmm it does look like an emerald though ugh I got it wrong again <.<

That was precisely what I did and I loved it. I suppose it depends on your tastes and what you want in a romance, for course, but I'd recommend it as long as you like sweet, drama-free romances. I posted some pictures on page 575 if you're interested and don't mind romance-spoilers. The only thing that I could say that I missed was no recognition of my background during the romance itself. I mean a female Tal Vashoth mage who used to be a merc with an Antivan noble would be quite the unconventional and rather scandalous pairing, so you'd think that while Josephine obviously doesn't mind, she'd certainly be aware of those issues as a diplomat and you could at least bring them up once.

I was a human mage. When I went to duel her wanna-be suitor I was a bit estranged that a sheltered circle mage did so well against a man who probably training this stuff on a daily basis. It would have been much more fun if a mage inquisitor fumbled around and either was about to be utterly humiliated or cheated by covertly using mage powers when Josephine arrived.

Well, she hasn't replied yet so either she didn't see it or chose not to answer. From some of her tweets, I think it is the former since it sounds like she is busy.

A lot of us think that Lord Otranto wasn't really trying in the duel but was more just toying with the Inquisitor.

I know I am late to this party but I really do not use the forums.

Anyways I also chose Josie for my romance. Having chosen a male human I am limited to Cassandra or Josie and frankly of the two Josie is just hands down better.

She actually seems to truly care. Cassandra has no problem breaking your heart to marry the Chantry while Josie stands by your side to the end. Not to mention in the scenes she just seems to enjoy the time spent together more imo.

I have also seen a lot of discussion or dissapointment in lack o' nudity with her and frankly it does not bother me, the way the scenes fade to black leaves plenty of room for headcanon in any direction you want. In my canon she doesn't just leave after we kiss, and generally the scenes are later in the evening so you get my drift.

I also prefer how she evens out my slaughtering thousands upon thousands in the name of the Inquisition.
