In all honesty. I have no idea what the next DLC for Inquisition could be, all I know is that I want at least 2 more DLCs/expansions because I love the universe/setting.

What I do hope for is a sweet, warm romance scene with her, like us walking arm in arm in public. Or giving a rose to Josephine. That and I want to actually work with her, since my Inquisition is all for diplomacy evidently. (even though in real life I'd normally lean towards military action )

Helping her with diplomatic stuff sounds interesting. Reminds me of the minigame in Deus Ex: Human Revolution where you can read people's body language and voice and were able to say the right things to get them to do what you wanted them to. That was really fun.

He, and now Allegra, were very adamant about the character being bisexual only.

So my dev-supported headcanon is now only semi-dev-supported headcanon since there are conflicting statements.

Did he ever specfically mention demisexuality? I only ever remember him saying that the DA2 LI's were bisexual, not playersexual. I don't think he ever mentioned demisexuality. Allegra also has nothing to do with Merrill, does she? Merrill being demisexual is certainly headcanon and I understand that it would be a lot nicer if the devs actually said she was demisexual, but I don't see why you can't headcanon it.

 

Let me say that I understand how you feel. I've had a bit more of a colourful dating history so I've seen reactions on both sides, and let me tell you that the assumptions you can hit are quite depressing. As I've said in other threads: we don't need to wear a T-shirt that says "I'm bi!" to count. And that's not even getting into things like being into both genders doesn't mean being into everyone of that gender. I was accused of that one on more than one occasion by someone who was just not my type. And in a supposedly welcoming space too.

Thanks for your reply, it helps to hear from someone who also understands how it is.

 

 

 

To get on topic, I think part of the reason that people think Josie is boring is that her cunning is always so subtly portrayed. Let's take one scene at Haven at the start with the noble who wants to evict the Inquisition from Haven. She plays off the Inquisitor perfectly - regardless of what you say she has an immediate answer to take command of the situation and guide the conversation to a rapid resolution. She eschews violence because she holds herself responsible for taking a life and it makes her a welcome breath of fresh air from the usual borderline psycho companions we have. I mean, I love the IB, but he's so gleefully into murder that it's a bit maladjusted. Josie's biggest failing is that she's a real person in a setting that doesn't want real people in it.

I think you are right about this. I was immediately impressed with her skills when she dealt with that noble in Haven, because that kind of thing isn't easy. The thing with Josephine's position is she does it so well, she makes it look easy so it is easy to overlook her skill.

Ooh, good question. I haven't even thought about this much. It is hard to guess when we don't even know what the next DLC would be like, but I do like Vijoelante's idea of getting the chance to work with her. Of course, I'd love an entire DLC solely about diplomacy* and getting people to get along, but I suppose I have an unusual taste in games for someone into RPGs. It is one of the reasons I love Inquisition, though, because you don't have to rely solely on force.

 

*I initially typed "diplomancy" here. Diplomancy is an obscure form of magic centered making people being nice to each other and casting nonviolent spells that convince people to not attack. My Tal Vashoth mage utilized a bit of this magic when she scared an entire mercenary company into retreating without a single blow just by pretending to be a big mean Qunari mage.

I'd have to say Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. 

 

They have the same morals and ideals, similar personality traits, care for those close to them more than they care about themselves, do not like killing as a solution, and have similar circumstances of someone they know dying because of them as an accident but still blame themselves which set them on their respective paths.

I would like to she take part in more political negotiations in future DLC. I would also like a meet the parents side quest if we go to Antiva. Who wants to party with the Crows?

Agh I want to start another Josephine run so I can actually finish her romance but I don't want to start a new game and have to download the new patch. Problems that are not really problems at its very worse. Along with needing to learn how to make makeup look even decent in the CC for the dwarf I want to romance her with.

I like pursuing diplomatic options as well, so I understand completely.

Meeting the rest of her family would be interesting. Maybe as part of an expanded romance arc if they do decide to do a post-campaign expansion or DLC. 

As for the Crows, it would be interesting to meet the main people behind the Crows, and they would have to have a Zevran cameo for his fans. It wouldn't be hard since they already have the VA as one of the options for Male Inquisitor.

Batman. Rich, badass, and Bruce Wayne's the closest thing to nobility Gotham has. He's basically a cooler Otranto. Maybe even Iron Man.

Well, Steve Cortez was an NPC and yet was involved in Leviathan quite a bit.

And unlike Varric, she doesn't have another place she'd much rather be; Varric would prefer to be either back home or with Hawke.

The way that Inquisition was structured, you spent tons of time with your advisors. I don't think comparisons to Mass Effect or previous DA games are all that useful - and even ME3 had, as you mentioned, Citadel, which gave significant roles to lots of non-combat NPCs.

Good point. The only people who are still with the Inquisition are Cullen and Josephine. Solas leaves regardless. Cassandra, Leliana, or Vivienne if recruited can leave to become Divine. Varric plans to leave. And Cole, Dorian, Sera, Rainier, and The Iron Bull are all optional.
