Ahh. I've always been more interested in Josephine's ambassadorial side than her business side, truth be told.

Given the setting, the two combine fairly well. Antiva is based on an Italy divided into principalities and rules by merchant princes. You have to be both a merchant and a politician. Very different skill sets, but she somehow manages to pull off both. Notice how she's the one managing the Inquisition's finances as well as her family's. Pretty impressive.

Now I'm wondering whether I should romance Sera or Josephine on my human friends-with-all-companions run.

I thought she only did that because I spent all my loot money on armor patterns, and horses that I never used.

So guys, what kind of wish do you have for any future Josephine romance content- if there ever is one?

Personally, since marriage atm isn't an option (hi headcanon), I want a conversation with Cole where he talks about how both of us feel for each other :P

I want marriage. Now that Gaider is gone, maybe it can actually be an option.

Other than that, meeting the rest of her family and helping them return to their former status. Should be easy the main obstacle is out of the way and the Inquisition is very influential.

Only an option for male Andrastian Inquisitors, so I really doubt that.

What I mean is now that Gaider is gone so doesn't have authority to say "It is anachronistic to have that"(even though practically every cultural aspect in Thedas is anachronistic), maybe Bioware will change their minds and make it be an option, like have the new Divine change the rules or something.

But there'd be no point. Andrastianism doesn't seem to have a problem with sex outside of marriage, so marrying people who can't have offspring to inherit property would be utterly pointless.

No ingame point perhaps, but there would be a point in a meta sense: it allows players who want something to have it.

Plus it is another notch on Bioware's belt of how accepting they are by saying their games allow same-sex marriage.

I'm not saying that I'm against the idea, I'm just saying that it A. almost certainly won't happen and B. has no reason to happen in-universe, which is the main reason for A.

Josephine is a new heroine for Heroes of Dragon Age. She is not very powerful for that game, but it's not bad. She makes Inquisition characters inmune to stun and slow and she gives 10% of damage reduction. Those are her best strengths, the bad part is she only attacks one enemy, though she heals a bit all yor characters, and she is slow.

Personally, I think they should have given her better buffs at the expense of not being able to attack at all.

She's a support character so that makes sense

Why not change Tevinter while they are at it. And the Grey Wardens, and free all the elves and mages by default.

Just purge thedas of every evil thing!

The cheesy duel between rival lovers  was the greatest thing since "Swooping is bad".

Probably posted before, but I just recently noticed it...

Random noble NPCs in Val Royeux can be overheard bickering about the Montilyets regaining their former status. One is for it, and the other against it.

Yeah, but watching some other characters in that game it's not a bad treatment for her. It could have been much worse. At least she is a buffer and a support character.

Ha! Those gossip loving Orlesians! Didn't got that one, but is a nice detail.

True, but her being able to attack goes against the whole her hating violence thing.

So I need a little help romancing scribbles. I've done her personal quest. Talked to Liliana and begun the romance. Found her families crest and have the option to make out with her. But I've not been able to get the duel to trigger. I spoke with her about Antiva after starting the romance so is that maybe why it might be bugged or is there another prerequisite I need to meet first. Like how far I am in the game/major plot lines completed first? I've tried to find info on that elsewhere but haven't been able to and I don't really have hours to scroll through this thread. HALP! Seriously, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Has she actually told you she's engaged yet? If no, it should trigger automatically. Try leaving Skyhold and complete a quest somewhere before returning, that worked for me. If yes there will be a mission on the war table called "Challenge Lord Ortranto to a duel". Once that's completed you'll have to go speak to Ortranto's envoy in the courtyard and once you've done that go to Val Royeaux and you'll get the duel.
