That was one of the only times I chose an 'aggressive' response, so Josephine wouldn't feel alone in that opinion. ![]()

Oh unlike before I chose aggressive option more often than not (like 1 out of ten times, which is a new thing to me)- mostly whenever Sera opened her mouth tho. That being said I felt a bit conflicted, normally I'd remain stoic and not express my discomfort, then again I'm also usually honest and blunt about what I don't like so it could go both ways :3

I am jealously sitting in my blanket refuge. It's 3 degree in this part of Sweden and I suffer greatly from a cold
. But hey, at least it doesn't snow.
Oh and on topic, it occured to me that I have no idea whether Josie has grey or brown eyes? It's so hard to tell.

They're grayish to me.
My pet peeve is how her eyebrows are brown but her hair is black. Same with Cassandra and Blackwall <.<

The flowery mural was the first thing Leliana saw upon opening up her Coffee shop - the elegant lines and the inclusion of her own favorite Andraste’s Grace on the borders a clear giveaway to the identity of the artist. She doesn’t even question how Josie got into her shop, because once Josephine Montilyet sets her mind on something - then, well. Leliana supposes she just has to live with the new decor from now on.Meanwhile, in her own office, Josephine hums contentedly amongst piles of case files and court appeals - twirling a brush pen between her fingers and wondering whether Cassandra or Cullen could benefit from some well-drawn message in their places.
Thats the most adorable Josie-art I've ever seen ![]()
Wow so somehow this playthrough I'm more military inclined than diplomacy ;-; I must fix this somehow, or else my headcanon is ruined >.>

I'll know that feel when I start my Inquisitor who'll romance Josephine.
He's not one for diplomatic stuff, but he'll do his best to to be interested for Josie.
I can always end up playing one of my favourite games "I'm not asleep, I just like to pay attention with my eyes closed"

Mine is Dorian. I'm hardly surprised.
Aaw I got Cullen. He'll bring me breakfast to bed so I'm good.
I got Sera. It could not have been more off the mark than that ![]()
I think I've put my finger on why I have issues with Josephine's romance: Josephine herself seems to be mostly passive, and we don't let her not be.
In all the other romances I've done for Bioware games, the love interest has been an active participant in the romance. Liara and Leliana both flirt with you first, and Merrill comes to seek out Hawke at her house once her attraction has reached a certain height, but Josephine never does anything of the kind. She just eventually gives in to the Inquisitor's attention. Moreover, when she's engaged, Josephine tries to become active for a bit by calling it off (incidentally, that part was one of my favorite scenes because it at least showed how much the romance meant to her), but the Inquisitor completely preempts it by going behind her back for that duel. It feels like... Josephine is a marginalized and underused presence in her own romance.
Ended up with Josephine!
So me and Josie will be drinking Tea while reading under a magnificent tree in Paris, a plate of Hamburgers to our left, Alistair cursing at all the birds swooping down onto him, surrounded by Tabby Cats.

Okay then I'll bite:
I chose lemonade, shooting arrows at, chocolate, Alistair, Paris, Tabby Cat; I'll be teaching Josie how to use a bow then we go for a quiet but fun time in the city where we enjoy lemonade and chocolate, and we run into my bestie Alistair who's with his tabby cat and we discuss cats for the rest of the day.

An interesting perspective, yet I don't quite understand what's wrong with that. She doesn't make the first move, but when you're together she offers love and support no less than any other character. Calling off an engagement isn't just her being "active for a bit", as you said it showed how much the romance meant to her. However the process would take time and is complicated, and she avoids getting seen with you because it's part of who she is- faithful and cares about her reputation (and yours). Hence to continue, you are required to take action- more often than not one side is more active than the other in a relationship, and that's okay because there'll come a time when you'll need her to be more active- whether she'll be able to or not is the key to a successful relationship, not just whether she was active that one time 5 years ago. It's clear she's never actually felt that kind of love to anyone before and she is hesitant to act on that feeling- but in time she understands you and while going behind her back infuriated her, it revealed just how much she matters to you, and I highly disagree that it makes her insignificant or underused. I mean, she even lets you win at the wicked grace game
Her companionship is different from anything Bioware's ever done, but in my eyes it's the romance I've always wanted; her personality, the courting, the pacing, the roles in the relationship. It's amazing how understanding and pragmatic she is. Really the only thing left is giving me the option to marry her and it'd be the ideal romance. She's the kind who's here to stay, the kind of relationship that may start slow but only grows. Her balcony scene reflects that (probably the best balcony scene in the game imo).
Quick question. What exactly does Blackwall mean when he says: "I just know you could shake this world with it's foundations if you willed it", because I'm really confused 70% of my wartable missions are done via Connections.
