I'm thinking of making a human mage to romance Josephine. More of a bookworm than a fighter, (s)he didn't want to fight the Templars and certainly doesn't want to be Herald of Andraste/Inquisitor, but will do it as it must be done and the anchor means that (s)he's the only one who can. It seems to me that such a person would be a good fit for Josie due to a similar social background, a shared sense of duty and a distaste for violence. What to you guys think?

That sounds good, but I think you should have your Inquisitor be one who believes they were really chosen by Andraste and the Maker, since Josephine thinks that. Saying stuff like that has some sweet reassuring dialogues with Josephine.

It is just a fan theory of mine, but if Josephine ever left the Inquisition she could stand a chance of being the next queen of Antiva. She is a powerhouse with the respect of almost all the major countries in Thedas, and is best friends with one of the best spy masters in Thedas. She could take the throne without ever having to call on the Crows.

The throne is pretty meaningless in Antiva. The merchant princes wield all the true power. Besides, I think she wants to travel.

On that subject, how can Antiva's line of monarchs have remained unbroken for two thousand years if the entire royal family was slaughtered during the Fourth Blight?

Simple the true ruler of Antiva is a cat who's kittens have been past down from figurehead to figurehead for two thousand years.  Or, the noble houses in Antiva have been enter marring to the point where all nobles in Antiva City can show that their family is related to the main noble branch of Antiva.

I actually kind of find it weird hearing Allegra's normal speaking voice. Besides the accent, her voice as Josephine is a bit softer.

You know I can just imagine poor Josie if you do the DLCs after the main mission.

Thinking oh Cory is dead it can go back to normal!

 

Then you run off dealing with lets just say some really freaking huge issues and boss fights.

I can imagine the Inquisitor getting reamed out by Josie for that.

Haven't played in a while tried picking up the game a few weeks ago and I've noticed something, when I'm not romancing her I forget Ruffles even exists half the time. I feel kind of bad about it but I totally forget about her till I need to talk to her or notice her quest popping up in my journal. Oddly enough she's the only character that happens with for me. Poor Josephine never gets even a hi from my Inquisitor unless they're into her romantically.
