Would someone be willing to sell me on romancing Josie? I'm a Cullen kind of girl, but I prefer playing a dwarf. Reformed criminal who grabs onto the Herald thing with both hands because it makes her feel like she matters. Sera, Bull, and Blackwall are unsuitable for various reasons. But I have two main problems.

1. I have a slight ruthless streak in that I prefer Briala ruling through Gaspard. So dead Celene.

2. The class difference. My Cadash is very and sincerely sorry for her violent past, but she does have one. And sometimes I get the sense Josie dislikes me. Also my dwarf’s initial reaction to her personal quest tends to be “talk to me when you’re actually poor” though she softens after hearing Josie’s backstory.

Any advice on negotiating these particular issues?

Well... if you have the Underworld Knowledge perk and romance Josie, that ruthless streak can come in handy during a very poignant romance scene.

And Josie doesn't care that you have a past, she will support you and swoon. And I don't really get the sense that the class difference matters to her family

I was wondering: Based on the Trailer with Josie sitting at the table with us (maybe that trial we were warned about), Would Josie and the Inquisitor's romance be brought up if there is one?

I think it's the trial, and it looks like Josephine serves as your advocate. 

 

It'd be really cool if they comment on her relationship with the Inquisitor and accuse her of being biased/blinded/etc then have the chance to defend her or her defend herself.

Yeah. I'm both excited and nervous about how it has developed in the past two years.

All race and gender combinations with her are really sweet. But I would have to say I prefer playing a Human Male Non-Mage when romancing her.

She gets some extra dialogue with humans because she knows the family. Personally, I prefer the idea of romancing her with a non-human just because I like my knights in shining armor to have a few scuff marks. Something a bit scandalous to get her out of her comfort zone while still being noble in action. But she is Lawful Good, so you might want to save the necromancer/revolutionary/etc for another game.

Heh. I'm playing a dwarf myself. On my initial attempts, it sometimes came across that she was looking down on me, but I discovered taking the flirt option in the convo about your past really helps with that. So now I'm her knight in shining armor who is going to actually be able to fight at a certain crucial point.

Dorian: Male Qunari

Josephine: Male Human Non-Mage

Sera: Female Qunari

Solas: Female Elf

If Bioware did make her into a doll I would buy it in a heart beat. Until then, I am happy with my little home made Josie doll.

Character-wise, just being more of herself and hopefully really involved in the main plot.

I romanced her with a male qunari warior, creating a pretty cute Huge Guy, Tiny Girl dynamic

Having some nice quiet moments with Lady Josephine, maybe some dates if marriage doesn't happen.
