Hey Josie thread. I'm going to be romancing her for the first time my next play through. I have a human female warrior in mind but I wanted to know some of your preferences on race and gender? Just out of curiousity, not that I'm expecting much different content

So has anyone hear heard of a webcomic called The Last Diplomat? I haven't read it myself but I keep seeing the little add page for it when I go to check up on other comics and between the name of it and some slight similarities between Ruffles and the girl on the cover, i.e. dark hair and skin, gold colored outfit, I keep thinking of Josephine and this thread.

So, any particular hopes for Josie in Trespasser? Anything you'd really like to see her doing or involved in?

My hopes for this DLC in general is that the 2 year jump makes narrative sense (rather than 'woe is me, everyone hates the inquisition... even my hand waaah') and things have actually changed for the companions, advisors, agents, etc. I want her front and center. I got a forces ending, which I was happy to have, but as far as I'm concerned there wouldn't be an Inquisitor without Josephine. I also hope I get a choice to kill anyone who puts her in danger (By anyone, I mean everyone).

 

Especially my buddy Solas and pseudo buddy Iron Bull.

 

 

As far as my hopes for Josephine:

 

I hope she stands to lose something (the quiz, her title, family, life etc)

I hope she has interests and desires that don't line up with the Inquisitor's.

I hope her relationship with my quiz compromises her ability to defend her.

I hope she's a totally confident bad ass and a known power to be reckoned with on the world stage.

I hope she's facing pressure to ditch the Inquisition, return home to Antiva and formally take up her role as head of her house

 

Why? Because drama that's why   I'm content with my quiz conquering ingrates with an iron...or, err, glowy fist. But I gotta clear it with Josephine first 

 

 

Actually, I hope I get some time to fic this if nothing remotely as interesting happens in this DLC

Haven't played it yet, but the fandom hasn't imploded so that's a great sign.

 As I wrote in this thread (forum.bioware.com/topic/542304-whats-the-deal-with-marriage) all I wanted was for the writers to clarify who can get married and who can't because it didn't make sense to me that same-sex couples couldn't. But it looks like Bioware made it clear that they can and my Adaar won't be left out if she doesn't wanna be, so I'm happy with that.

 

Choice is cool, but it does get boring if everyone has the exact same options. If Josephine has her own special scene, I'll enjoy it for what it is  And honestly, could Bioware do a Josephine wedding justice? The amount of planning and micromanaging that would take for someone like her?

If someone can help me with a save, I was about to play the DLC now with my human female more on the diplomatic side and the Origins save system just erased all characters. I at least would like to play the DLC with something close to my save and if anyone want to share I would appreciate it. Probably doing all my characters on my vacations and never again using the cloud.

I sympathize. Of all the characters, Josephine is probably the most obvious candidate for a storybook ending. But without knowing what scene she did get, I'm going to reserve judgement. Guess I'm so used to getting all of my narrative hopes destroyed ME3, a positive open ending with possibilities just seems like a win for me.

 

I'm a writer, though, any blanks I feel desperately need filling in my head, I write them myself. I can see how it would suck if I wasn't that way inclined.

Yeah both Cass/Josie got crappy Romance content I will give the Cass you know Divine/Seeker but there was absolutely no reason we couldnt have married Josie hell her as an option makes more sense then Sera "Sorry Sera Fans" but its the truth.
