SO i belong to this close knit skype group of dragon age fans, tonight as a joke we were discussing sexual practices in thedas. I will state that all but two of the members are female, the other member is a gay male and i am somewhere along the asexual spectrum.
so yea anyway, thoughts in spoiler tags because some of you might be kids, or prudes...
Spoiler
so tonight we were wondering which of the female romance sin all the three main games were into anal sex. the consensuses is Isabella of course...but then it got me thinking. i bet Josephine is kinky as ****. think about it, all day long she has to be prim and proper being the ambassador. she gets home, after a long day and undoes her dress, only to be dressed like a dominatrix underneath. she has to let lose, be the opposite of what is expected, to have control over her life, etc, etc ,etc
imagine the shock on blackwall's face the first time he gets her that far, to see that outfit and the ball gag coming towards him...
anyway yea...they asked me to share this with you all and get your thoughts
definitely, the trust thing. regardless i have a feeling she would probably be the best romance for a more open minded individual in dai
I see Cassandra as being the most likely of the female love interests due to her obsession with smutty literature. Sera mentions finding Cassandra essentially having a Kama Sutra-like book.
Cassandra: Sera, I noticed one of my books is missing.
(if Cole is in the party)
Sera: Maybe check with Creepy. He touches everything.
Cole: I like the stories in her head more than the stories on the page.
(Otherwise)
Sera: Ask that thing. It... touches everything.
Cassandra: Cole didn't take it.
Sera: Right, which one?
Cassandra: The one with all the illustrations.
Sera: Oh, that one was full on. I threw it under your bed.
Cassandra: You don't know how to ask permission first?
Sera: Fine. Please can I not find more of your mucky little books? Drawings, ew.
Thanks for asking her about that. I remember when that was seen and everyone was trying to figure it out. Ideas went from Cole turning bad and stabbing her to Cole giving her a sudden hug and everything in between.
This is my first post on the Josephine section and i'm curious about something.
Once i heard a rumor that associate Josephine with one of the magisters that went into the black city don't know if that's true however.
Welcome to the thread.
I think they are referring to this.
When visiting the Black Emporium, Xenon the Antiquarian may send his regards to Josephine, mentioning that one of her ancestors visited the hidden shop during the Blessed Age. Xenon sold her a candle mounted within the severed hand of a first acolyte of Razikale, and wonders if it's still in the possession of the Montilyet family as he should like to see it again.
So the affiliation is one of Josephine's ancestors has a hand from a first acolyte, though whether it was the Razikale first acolyte that entered the Black City is unknown, but unlikely.
Actually, having a Desire Demon as a companion could be interesting. We know some in Tevinter are capable of binding demons to them, so maybe one of our other companions does or events occur where they follow us. We've had the Spirit perspective and the inbetween perspective, so maybe demon should get its fair share.
I think you mean Brotranto. I hope he shows up again. He was cool. I like how if you break up with Josie, he's cool to keep dueling with you for the lulz.
I did not know this, so I looked up the scene. Josie was very upset but that was a pretty cool moment.
I think I want to have a Josiemance for my secondary world state, but I can't decide who I want to romance her with! I like the idea of her with a female Lavellan or male Adaar best. Hmmmnn. How did y'all choose?
I was originally going to romance her with my 1st male Trevelyan but went with Cassandra instead once I found out Joise was bi. I then changed plans and romanced Josie with my female Lavellan.
Sorry for the double post, but this seems a relevant point of discussion.
Not really. Rogues were able to use axes as well in Dragon Age games, just smaller axes.
Yeah, throwing weapons would be fun.
We had throwing knives in Inquisition... I had some serious fun turning my rogue Cadash into a knife and bomb-throwing Artificer, the damage output was ridiculous and enemies were down before they ever got into melee range, even on Nightmare.
Would be nice to see them keep or expand on this in DA4, perhaps having some enemy types that use ranged "melee" would make for some interesting combat, as well as unique character builds if we could do the same.
I do love the idea of Josie winning an axe throwing competition... my only question is, how big was the axe?

I like to think Josephine is all muscle under her ruffles. She is an accountant by day, body builder by night.
