Scribbles reminds me of Zhu Li from Legend of Korra. Imagine how hilarious it would be for Inquisitor-Scribble relationship to be like that of Varrick-Zhu Li.

Funny you say that. I was going to answer the questions and say her personality was something similar to Zhu Li.

01. If she's centered around trade and commerce, I'm assuming she could be money-hungry and possess a love for the finer things in life. Maybe not as demanding or icy as Vivienne, but definitely likes to see the profits from the Inquisition rolling in. I sense she probably sees financial opportunity at every corner and functions as a businesswoman first and foremost (hence the scribe = business letters/arrangements). 

 

02. I surely hope not. I like her appearance. 

 

03. Possibly. If they said 'some of the advisors' and Leliana is rendered null and void in the love department, the only other person I can point to is this girl. I can see the possibility of even marriage/some sort of partnership since she is not a companion (and doesn't appear like she fights at all). 

 

Speculations:

-I don't think she is a mage. I think she's like the Lois Lane/non-fighter but key character of the Inquisition; handling the non-violent business and financial matters, possibly investigative. Could be the one to deal in politics as well

-She seems like she has a thing for literature, but I don't see her as a Traynor type. Rather, I see her as more of a noblewoman with an appreciation for the 'fine arts'. Possibly a bit of a snob/overdramatic

-Her look screams 'Orlesian' to me, though she could be from Rivain as well. Definitely some form of nobility or wealthy, whether she's a descendant or happened to work her way to the top through extreme shrewdness and quick wit

-Given her wardrobe and affinity for trade/money/commerce, I can see her getting along very well with Vivienne and Varric, though she may have some disagreements about the way things are carried out at times. She might be the one with leads on Iron Bull, Sera and the others as well

I think she will be fastidious, witty, and loyal.  That last one was already revealed so it may be cheating.

 

I hope she has some differences from what we've seen at the Last Supper image, I'd like her to look more closely like the early concept art of her.

 

I do think she will be a LI.

 

Only other speculation I have is that she is Rivaini.

1) As Snithe suggested, I can see her as like Zhu Li from Avatar: The Legend of Korra. 

 

2)We've never got a good enough look for me to guess what minor ways her appearance will change. Maybe the return of her jewelry. 

 

3) Yes, as a non-racegated bisexual option. Everyone deserves a chance with Scribbles.

Okay time for my serious speculation since its the last time I can make one

1- I think her personality will be strong, professional, she'll be quite verbal and fearless. She will also show a lot of confidence. I hope she'll be what I mentioned earlier but with a soft side, a dry sense of humor, sarcastic nature in addition to  being open to those she cares about only, like maybe show her insecurity about not being able to do combat. Also she won't be like extremely serious (common misconception) she'll be.. Normal. Idk how to describe it. If you know Watcher from SWTOR Imperial Agent's story, I'm referring to a personality very similar to hers.

2- I'm not sure what you mean, we don't know anything to compare to initially

3- 99.9% sure or my canon inq. will probably be gay.

4- That she will either have a very good idea of what is happening to the Inquisitor (whole glow-y hands thingie) or she'll be interested in learning more about it when conversing with him/her.

I don't care much for fanfiction. It's not official so it's not important (to me). But if y'all are having fun writing, feel free.

Anyway, she has some big shoes to feel. She's the one advisor who hasn't been in any game/book (that we know of) thus far. Nor is she a companion that we take along on quests and what not. I'm picturing someone like a Steve/Samantha.

Since some of you don't quite understand - I meant Samantha/Steve as in they're there in the background doing stuff. They were a constant presence (especially traynor) but they weren't really with you or around you that often. Even if they had plenty of content. (Which, to me, they had about the same, maybe slightly less, as some of the newer companions like EDI/James).

I just wonder how she'll hold up against fully fleshed out characters. I hope she can stand on her own like Traynor did.

1. Loyal and serious about her job but a sweet woman with maybe a few quirks but grace at the same time.

2.I bet she'll have a strong role in the game.

For question 3 I'm hoping that she is the bi-sexual option just so everyone has a shot but its hard to say what Bioware has in mind for her so lets just leave it at that and not open that can of worms.

According to dev tweets, the advisers got the same writing budget as full companions and will see them a lot, so she should be able to stand on her own as much as the other non-returning people.

I would be so shocked if someone actually guessed her name correctly. They would seriously deserve a prize.

I don't know who said it but if she's an Antivan Merchant Princess that would be the coolest thing ever! Think about all the lore she could fill us in about Antivan society!

 

As for her name I want it to be Persephone.... Why? Because I like Greek Mythology that's why!
