Just didnt want to take up a whole bunch of space with the pic! Though she looks awesome so I'm sure nobody would complain.
My thread, my rules. ![]()
just kidding.
But yeah, I don't think anyone on a character fan thread will mind fan art of said character the thread is based on. ![]()

I just love her look ! Her outfit kinda has an Egyptian vibe I love it ! Will romance her if possible .
Yeah. I think she may be Antivan. It would be cool, considering the only woman we ever met from there was Oriana Cousland, and she was hardly a representation of Antiva.

I actually think she is from Rivain.

Her skin tone would seem to indicate Rivaini ancestry. But then Vivienne, who is also brown-skinned, is from Orlais.

Yeah, good point! Antiva does sound more likely since its bigger then Rivain and it has alot more political stuff going on. And since its suggested that Scribe Girl is gonna be our politics expert - Antiva sounds like a more suitable origin ![]()

Also since Antiva is right next to Rivain, I wouldn't call it strange to have a fair amount of native Antivans with a Rivaini skin colour.
The big question is whether or not she'll have a non-English accent. Despite being quite clearly culturally Orlesian, Vivienne has an upper class English accent, rather than French one. If Scribbles is from Antiva, I hope she has an Antivan accent.

Have we ever talked in this thread about the fact that, while it's DHMG that get's the "Mahogany" title, it was actually Scribe Girl who Gaider said would make that comment? Wish I had the original tweet/blog post handy to link to.....
So does that mean that she's actually an Effie Trinket-eque character?

Penelope Cruz for VA?
If that's true, she damn well better be available as a romance. And not straight so my mage can romance her. Cruz's voice is just OP!

I'd like that. Maybe that will also make her the third character Gaider hinted at for that Mean Girls fan art, though I've been hoping it was Sera so she could maybe be voiced by Lacey Chabert.

Antiva is also big on trade, so she'd have plenty of skills in trade which would help her with the commerce adviser role as well.

Indeed.
As for the accent, I don't know but it would be interesting to have her have a non-Ferelden accent like Cassandra does.

Reading it again, it may well be a completely new character. But I was thinking that the actress who played Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls could be an Inquisiton VA.

Interesting.
I don't really know anything about Mean Girls, so I have no idea who fits. ![]()

No, it's not. Scribbles is an adorable nickname. And well-liked too considering its caught on like wildfire in the week or so of its existence.
Chari said those in Russia call her Jasmine after the Disney princess, so I can see the reasons behind Naomi.
I'm suddenly very interested in her thanks to this thread. Your enthusiasm is infectious lol

Interesting.
I don't really know anything about Mean Girls, so I have no idea who fits.
Actually, I was referring to this post on his blog:
http://dgaider.tumbl...oom-oh-yay-matt
Where he states (in response to the "That's mahogany!" line:
"I laugh every time I see someone suggesting the fellow on the left (next to Cassandra) is saying “That is mahogany!” …that is, in fact, the very first thing Mary and Sheryl and I joked when we saw this image, though we thought it was the woman on the right (with the black hair and the bun). Just add a gasp! onto the front. :)"
So to me, it sounds like Scribe Girl is the "That's mahogany!" person in that scenario. So sounds like she might be more of the "Effie Trinket" type than DHMG. Not sure if that also makes her the third mean girl in the scenario that Potato Cat put up, though.

Ah, okay.
I had to look up Effie Trinket. Interesting character.

Yeah, I knew who she was when I saw the picture, but since they never say her name in the movie I didn't know.

Assuming for a moment that the Twitter rumors are true and Siobhan Hewlett is Brooks' VA...someone sign her up a.s.a.p to do VA work in Dragon Age.
