They didn't becuase they never officially confirmed her presence. The same goes for Blackwall (or the others, who we know the names only becuase of the survey).

I honestly don't understand why specifically her name is such a big deal.

 

 

 

I want some high quality, clear screenshots and some inkling to her personality so I can decide if she goes into the "would bang" or "would not bang" column.

I think the lack of a name is more of just a symbol. It's the whole "We don't even know her name".

I'm excited about her because she looks like a great character to have around.  I have no plans on romancing her.  It isn't the lack of a name for me; it's what she could bring to the Inquisition as an adviser that makes me excited for the character as well as proud to be a Scribbler.

Well, some people are seeing patterns - like how the two ME3 non-companion romances were both homosexual. Perhaps this time, the two non-companion romances are both straight? I know it's a long-shot but I get the feeling that there's going to be some sort of pattern when it comes to who's a romance and who is not.
