I bet this is a terribly old topic of discussion, and I'm sorry if it is, but I wonder what race/ethnicity (I am really sorry, I always get the two mixed up) her final model will look like. I recall in some of the concept art she looked kind of Indian. (from India) I think it's the nose, but it looks like it has been changed since then. Concerning places in the Dragon Age universe, I can see her being Rivaini in origin.

Yeah, it's actually to the point where part of me wants the reveal to wait for like one more hour just so we can say we had 100 pages of discussing a character we know nothing about. 
My guess is Rivaini.
Indeed, she does look Indian, so most likely a Rivaini. Although her outfit seems to fit Antiva more...I think.
It seems to fit, though I guess I didn't really consider Antiva! If she is our political advisor I can see her getting a real work-out from Antivan politics. Though, I am assuming there was more to it than money and hiring crows. (My memory is a bit fuzzy, so there are only bits and pieces I can recall from the conversation with Zevran)
I believe the majority settled on either African or Middle Eastern like Pakistan in terms of race structure.
