My first Suggestion is manage all the flags. I imported a Zevrain Romance Save from Origins to Awakening to Witch Hunt to DA2 and by the time I got to DA2 Zevrain didn't even hesitate to get Isabela on her back. {according to the Wiki it says this is indeed a bug that affects Leiliana and Zevrain relationships because they don't appear in Awakening but leaves Alistair and Morrigan romances intact.

Next suggestion on the subject of Imports. It will be impossible to import a Hero of Fereldan into Inquisition. I don't doubt Bioware's ability to import the fact that some HoF's are in relationships. But offhand the chances that the game will recognize my redheaded, dwarf, sarcastic voice, is in a relationship with morrigan and have him show up physically in inquisition seems impossible from the sheer amount of potential variables {heck you still havent solved how Leiliana got ressurected for people who corrupted the urn in front of her.} The only options I can see is either

1. Recreating HoF and possibly Hawke along with the new inquisitor character

or

2. Have something like. Inquisitor comes to Morrigan's cabin in the mountains. Morrigan has a conversation with the Inquisitor and mentions the HoF is off with their Son hunting and wants no part in this war. And if Bioware wants to go the extra mile give the inquistor diffrent options.

A. But how can he stay out of it? You both are Mages this effects you as well. {If HoF is a mage}

B. But how can he stay out of it. Even Orzammar has become involved. {if HoF is a dwarf}

etc.

There is also the possibility of option 3. The game recognizes your HoF's race and sex and puts you in one size fits all full covering armor so for all the player knows it's a faceless bald character model under the armor. But that option seems unlikely.

Option four which is probably unlikely is by the time inquisition starts the HoF is off to die in the Deep Roads.

My next suggestion is to, at the start of the game, let the players choose if HoF and Hawke want any part of this war. In my own Head Canon my HoF is currently residing in the mountains somewhere with Morrigan and their son. While my FemHawke {still not as catchy as FemShep} is rolling naked in a glade with Merrill. Neither wants anything to do with this crazy Mage War.

Another suggestion I have is. Lets face it EA is not going to let Inquisition be the end of the franchise just like I heard ME4 is going to be made. While playing Awakening I had a thought. When they talk about Alec the Farmer founding a knight order that lasted a thousand years it got me to thinking. If you must be saddled with a potential fourth installment why not make whatever ending the player choose last an arbitrary amount of time like a thousand years and that way like ME3 ending said "Some of the details have been lost" and every players world will come out looking almost if not entirely identical.

I hate to break it to you, but your headcanon is going to be shattered.

Even if your warden was off living on some mountain, with his fingers in his ears, Morrigan is in the game. That's confirmed.

Managing the flags is the reason we're getting the Keep - we shouldn't see that type of bug any more. (Which isn't to say that we won't see other types of bugs where the game reacts to your world state in the wrong way, but that problem where the game loses your flags during import should never be seen again.)

If the Warden and/or Hawke return, BioWare will be choosing what happens to them and how involved they are in current events. I'm betting on face-covering armour to get around the appearance problem, personally.

If you don't want your Warden involved you can always skip the Ritual. *evil smile*

Well my Warden slayed the Archdemon, Saved Amaranthine, and went after Morrigan out of love [although gameplay wise love and "i want to see my kid" are virtually identical] So he's beaten his sword into a plow. Granted Morrigan and our Godchild probably has big roles to play in this war of Qunari, Mages, Civil Wars, Global Wars, and Darkspawn. {Also I really hope we can finally take bake the black city and turn it golden again]. But otherwise he'll be content to mind the homefront.

As for Hawke sister was murdered by an Ogre, Forced her brother into being a Grey Warden, Slaughtered her girlfriends people, Had a friend turn out to be a terrorist, kissed a Qunari Elf, Sold Isabela to the Qunari, lost her mother to a serial killer, and slaughtered all the mages in the tower and found out the Circle leader was helping the serial killer. And then had the knight commander stab her in the back and try to kill her and she did her part as Viscount for a while then she got herself involved in whatever and now she wants to spend at least eight hours a day rolling naked in a glade with her blood mage dalish bride.

Also if you replace Hero of Fereldan with Darth Revan and Hawke with Less Catchy KOTOR 2 protagonist name, and Dragon Age Inquisition with SW:TOR you will understand why one would be concerned with the fates of characters they grew attatched to. {not even going to bring up my poor widowed Tali Zorah Vas Normandy.]

My feedback and suggestion will be to please let there be the option to wear the helmet at all times during coversation,cutscenes,etc like in mass effect 3. I was dissapointed with the dragon age games being unable to show your helmet unless you were in gameplay. I just want the option to be there.

Well then lets hope romance scenes only happen when you're in the casual outfits then because otherwise you'd have your love interest leaning in to kiss you and they'd be kissing your helmet while impaled on those spikes coming out of your armor.

I do wonder about the keep though. Because while they might think whether or not Connor was saved is an important flag the same situation in Shale's DLC with Kitty probably wouldnt be. Or helping Dagna. Or the numerous little things. Granted alot of these decisions got their own epilogues like paying for the sword ends up making Bann Teegan marry the older sister of the hiding boy or if done diffrently he marries the tavern wench you paid to start a new life. It's some of the little things that give you a real feeling of connection to your story. And they can detract from it too like Leiliana is obviously part of the Thedas Lazarus Project if you had to kill her at the urn since she shows up in DA2 regardless. Same thing with Anders. But then again one of the writers said THEY get to choose who will come back to life for the purpose of the narrative in the games

spiteful addon: not the players. Because it's their story not ours.

The option will be there. Watch the DA:I demo. The Inquisitor leaves his helmet on for conversations.

I just hope that terrifying glitch from ME3 doesnt show up In DA:I Nothing quite like talking to a character and walking directly behind them only to discover their head will keep turning to look at you even if it means snapping the bones in their neck to do so.
