I'm just going to start posting my wave 10 fails here.. since I now have more wave 10 Target fails than completed plat solos. Feel free to post your own fails. That way they are not totally in vain... :/

Speaking of fails..here's one

For Thessia, w10 clean up fail...drone staggers me into a banshee sync kill....More reason to hate Brenon Holmes.. This was after TPP as objectives :/

At least I'm starting to be stabily able to get to wave 9 now.

 

There's only 2 waves that are actually hard, 2 and 9. Waves 1,5,7 are a breeze with all the mooks, wave 4 is what those nukes are for, wave 8 is purely annoying but if you take your time with it is not too much of a problem with 3 pyros and 2 a-bombs running around. Wave 2 has those 2 captains that always get possessed and only 1 a-bomb making it bs long for such an early wave. Wave 9 has 3 funtoms making it as fun as it sounds.

 

Hope this inspires you to go legendary.

 

Obviously everything is my opinion coming from my experience with this challenge. No idea what I wrote this for but have fun wasting your time reading it.

I'd nuke wave 2 once. One nice kill streak will almost deplete the wave budget. One for wave 4 and 2 nukes for wave 8. That's what I would do....

 

Ofc all this is pointless if you get w6 targets or w10 targets

I tried For Thessia (platinum) again after doing a bunch of gold solo speedrunning. I got pizzas on w3 and w6 and thought it was my lucky day. Then I got pizza on w10 too. Only then I realized that I forgot to switch back to the original coalesced. Derpity derp!

I had wave 6 targets actually, they are somewhat manageable with grenade spam. And I'd much rather nuke the chit out of wave 9 than 8. Fruit phantoms, sync-killing people left and right, ain't cool.

 

Leaving 2 rockets for wave 10 just because of possible targets annoys me. Shitty objectives, I should hack for triple devices.

I had a couple plat fails earlier.. wave 9s.. so dropped it to a casual outlier solo lol.

I had two fails on Nemesis Reborn due to the usual Cerberus bull. Damn centurions. Went to go do Mordus hardcore cause making Cerb fly on the Airlines always makes me feel better. Managed to get that done on the first try. Then going off of the victory, I decided to try Flight 1, ate it on wave 8.

N2 II. - Lay Down the Lawson

Everything went smoothly until wave 6, even the bane of my existence -- Collector Bullsh*t -- avoided me. Then I got devices on wave 6. Used 4 Gels, 3 Ops Packs and 2 missiles just to get it done barely... I had 3 seconds left.

Then a Possessed Captain grinded me down three times in 5 seconds on wave 8. Life's beautiful.

I had another perfect Mordus run, but I got hack on w6 and w10. Finished at 20:04.

I'll get that sub-19 eventually.

It's not a thing with plat, it's a thing with objectives\spawns on certain maps.

Phantom sync-kills are total utter BS on "Shepard Clone's War II" (the Novaguard challenge) in particular.
