When it says that 100% of shields are restored, is that 100% of the player's shields, or 100% of the damage done by the drain? For instance, if the player has shields of 825, and Energy Drain does 330 damage, are the player's shields restored by 330 points, or the full 825?

I believe it is 100% of the player's base shields. I would have to check it out to be sure, but I just do not have time right now. If someone has not answered the question definitively in about 12 hours from now, I can check it out to be sure.

It is based on damage done. Link. Misinformation that it is dependent on base shields has been spread for ages.

Thanks for the clarification, Corlist. 

 

So much of this game is based on base weapon/power damage that when you get something that is actually based on total damage, it comes as a surprise.
