Some may have followed my recent posts about server economics (before i broke my hand >.<) or my survey about PWs.
Its because some things have been in the works over on SCoD and some staffing changes are going ahead.
Basically a majority of the team no longer have an interest in the server, or NWN2 in general, and i'm just about the only one left with the desire/energy to keep things going. Therefore, while cryptc is still hosting (and will keep doing so for the foreseeable future), i'm now admin of the server, and looking to build up a new team of dedicated and interested people.
I know this may be a long shot. The server's population is at an all time low, and its clear that interest is dwindling in general, but NWN1 servers still exist, some of them going strong, and a few NWN2 servers are doing ok as well, so i'm not giving up just yet. 
Naturally i'm happy to listen to offers of help from anyone who is interested, but specifically, at this time i'm looking to fill the following positions.
DMs
I'm looking to get at least a couple of active DMs on the server who will run events at least once a week. Ideally one European and one US based. DMs will initially be taken on trial, and if they get positive feedback they can become full staff members with a say in the future of the server.
Requirements: Energy. Passion. Level headed in stress situations and able to communicate effectively.
Advantageous: Good knowledge of the Planescape setting.
Optional: Knowledge of how to use the DM client.
Artist/Graphics designer/Web person
NWN2 is showing its age. For this reason its important that visitors get a good first visual impression. To help with this i'll be moving the forums to a new system with better customization options and a lot of other info to wiki format. In addition, ill be needing plenty of icon and other work with some of the things i have plans for in the game. The artist will help out in these areas and help with marketing/promotional works as well.
Requirements: Good with art/graphics stuff really. So Photoshop/GIMP and ability to create nice stuff.
Advantagous: Knowledge of the NWN2 image formats, although its quite simple.
Of course, there is no reward for any of this except what you gain yourself from your efforts and the thanks of the community.
