Remember that in the "World of Dragon Age" video we saw Red Lyrium in the Fade as well.
Makes sense. Vanilla lyrium exists in both places, so why not the red kind as well?

What? I don't recall that.
Where could the Templars get more? The Deep Roads?
I always assumed they had an expedition down there specifically for that since we don't know how it happened yet (or at least I don't)
Perhaps the Wardens are hooking up the Red Templars.

Yesssss! That's another source for them as well.
What? I don't recall that.
mhm! It looks just like the blue lyrium, but red
there were clusters everywhere.
And your alternative? Will it somehow magically remove humanity from the equation?
Why does it have to go as far as removing humanity?
I don't need nobles to combat the veil tear.

That would explain the battle but it'd also break my heart ![]()

Not the Fereldan Wardens. I'm thinking higher ups like the First Warden, cause Nate told us he had an extreme interest in the Primeval Thaig.
Based on the hints that the devs have given about the Highlands there's a strong possibility the Red Templars may be connected to Imshael. His MO appears to involve offering mortals choices and watching the terrible consequences that result from it. Perhaps he appeared to the now lyrium starved templars and offered them a choice to use an alternative. And the ones who became Red Templars took him up on it.
When it comes to the Eluvians, based on what we know about them from the book, I'm actually not in favor of smashing them. But I also am not sure who I'm in favor of having them.

It'd still break my heart because of the giant pedestal and hero worship I have for them lol

Actually it was the newest video. I misplaced the name. But when they show the Fade parts, look at the bottom of the screen and you will see 'little' stocks of Red Lyrium.
So is the bickering of Briala over?
...No? ![]()
Great plan, behead Orlais, watch the body flounder as local strongmen try to set themselves up as lords, then watch them get crushed as Nevarran soldiers conquer Orlais. That's not to mention the political upheaval that would engulf the rest of Thedas with the sudden loss of one of its two superpowers. Why does it have to go as far as removing humanity?

Damn. Never caught that. I was too busy looking at the rest of the Fade and it looks so damn gorgeous.
I'm all for destroying the Eluvians. So far literally nothing good, from Darkspawn taint to a Forbidden One, has come from them.

Well, now you have another reason to watch it again. ![]()

God, all those broken mirrors is going to add up to a lot of years of bad luck.
Besides being morally reprehensible? The elves don't live in a vacuum. They can't avoid humans and pretend human affairs don't concerns them. Humans aren't going anywhere. They will resent the elves for what they've done. Unless humans and elves learn to live together, this will never end. Killing them certainly isn't the way to do that.
Aside from resting I the wrongheaded notion that Briala isn't actively prolonging the war? You have yet to provide any reasoning or proof as to why the section I quoted someone doesn't indicate that.
It would certainly be the dwarves' issue if they lived in Orlais and were actively worked to prolong the war, as Briala is doing.
If you refuse to see that Briala is in fact doing that, we have no more to talk about.
1.Sometimes trying to be on the moral high ground gets you eaten , especially when dealing with bears. And with the mirrors, yes the elves can live in a vacuum. The issue for year is that any human conflict elves get dragged in and left to rot. With the mirrors that stops. Saying that the Briala should help the human end their war over helping the elves ignores the fact the that will just end put having the humans dumping over the elves again like they always do.
2.Because of her general goal she stated. Let say both sides make a truce and stop fighting. How can she extent the war from that? Why would she extend the war from that? Think for a moment of what she want and can do while the human are fighting their war? Would that be the best time to make a stable elven state when no human can stop them? Why help the human end their war when she can help her kind protect themselves?
She not doing any wrong doing. She helping her kind. The elves are like a batted woman in an abusive marriage who get dragged back home when ever she tries to run away. If the husband is away that gives the woman all the time to get to a better place where he can't touch her or she can defend herself better. You keep say the moral thing is for Braila to help the people effect by this war by helping end it but that would just put the power back to the human nobles and the elf will be dumped on all over again. And this happen over and over again in thedus history. And you're saying the elf should risk that to help the human end their war?
Woah, woah, woah! A new video was released? When did that happen? Where can I find it?

No, the Discover the Dragon Age vid from the beginning of March.

Yeah, shall we prepare for a journey to Orzammar, dear Hana?

btw: The scene I'm thinking of is at 0:45.
Yeah, shall we prepare for a journey to Orzammar, dear Hina?
Fixed.
And yes, we have our boulder and free donkey that came with it, so let's go on an Eluvian hunt. ![]()
What if the Eluvians can help you? Still throwing them out? Or?

Depends on what risk could be involved? If they still transmit the Taint or do anything demony, I'ma smashin'.
If they are risk free, they'll be placed under the management of the Inquisition. The only one worthy of such power is the Inquisitor.
And yes, we have our boulder and free donkey that came with it, so let's go on an Eluvian hunt.
We ride at dawn!
What if the Eluvians can help you? Still throwing them out? Or?
Personally, yes. The harm they've caused so far outweighs any good they can possibly provide unless they are essential to closing the Veil Tears.
Though so far I'm 0 for 1 since I can't rival Merrill.
