Yes he can. He has some self hate. To be a racist he would have to believe that humans are superior to elves. That is not saying he can't change.

The real question is if he believes that, as opposed to using socially accepted racism as a smoke screen for his own cover.

Humans are superior to elves.

Its why they rule the world and the elves are servants and hillbillies.

Racism isn't admission of reality.

Agreed. And now that bastard Corypheus has joined the mix, along with Morrigan and maybe the Architect. Makes me wonder whose side Flemeth is on, besides her own.

So....we have Flemeth, Architect, Cory, Imshael, Morrigan, and probably another behind the scenes player running around Thedas, as well as God knows what else.

Lord have mercy, I love this franchise!

I saw it as mostly a mask to hide is elven blood

Okay. I hope so because I really want this guy to find peace. He has great potential. I would love to have him on my team.

Probably not the Architect on account that the Warden could kill him.

Agree. I think Areskeith made a good point as well.

I am merely pointing out Belief in the status quo isn't comparable to some anthropomorphic superiority complex.

Ahem...I will handle the blood magic. Lord knows we don't need a neophyte like you screwing it up. <_<

Stick to your daggers, child.

I'm wondering how in the world they even managed to summon a demon of that caliber without using blood magic? Maybe I'm reading too much into this...but what if he wanted to be summoned by them?

I'm not sure, since Dalish traditionally don't use magic that involves spirits. It may have been from an elven tome, or Felassan, who seemed familiar with it.

Perhaps. I mean, a pride demon managed to influence both Marethari and Merrill from within a sealed statue. Makes me wonder if Imshael, a much stronger demon, attemped to manipulate this clan.

Damn, circles within circles.

Yeah, any speculation on Felassan? The whole time, I thought he was behind everything. An extremely powerful Dalish mage who doesn't identify as Dalish, serves some kind of super-powerful Fade creature that may or may not be the Dread Wolf, and has a mysterious clan we wouldn't want to meet. Plus, he is obviously friendly with Imshael.

That's real shady.

Yup. And for all his powerful magic, he was still susceptible to whatever his boss is.
