Who do you think is his boss? I thought the boss killed him because he didn't get the PW.
I think he was working for Fen'harel

Indeed. And I think that might be why the Formless One is the last to be revealed, because it is the strongest of the Forbidden Ones. I think the creature could already be within the mortal world, and as the name implies, be an extremely powerful shapeshifter.
Extremely powerful shapeshifter... Hmm, nope can't say that rings any bells.

Ditto. At the same time, there must have been some kind of binding on this entity, cause it sounds like it otherwise could easily get the password on its own.

I actually don't think it's Flemeth. Flemeth is an extremely powerful shapeshifter...but I don't believe she is a demon.

She's much more than that, even.. definitely not human

Sounds good but why does Fen'harel need the PW?

Maybe....the eluvians are a way for him to escape the Fade?
It's entirely possible. Could explain how Audacity knew to purify the mirror as well.

Her daughter said she wasn't human. I know she wanted Marc to wake up the Great Ones Dragons who Flemeth's other daughter couldn't wake up. It seems there are different types of dragons. Her other daughter could wake up the normal type but not the Great Ones per David Gaider comic which I hated reading for lack of any meaningful information.

good point. The other demon had the PW. I guess these demons don't talk. I love to get more data on them.

Yavana did say some cryptic things, "The blood of dragons is the blood of the world." There was also her talk of a time before the veil (in speaking to Alistair), "Your heart beats with the old blood, as well. Where do you think it comes from? It sings of a time when dragons ruled the skies. A time before the Veil, before the mysteries were forgotten. Can you hear it?"
That was really cool. God i wish David would write another book. There is so much stuff. I do love the mystery.

I swear, all these unanswered mysteries enthrall me so much!

really because they make my head implode
I wonder if this has anything to do with the Black City. Like, what if Fen'Harel wants to get to the Golden City, and he think he can use the Eluvians to get there? Don't some Dalish think that's where he imprisoned the Creators? What if someone wants to free them? Maybe Flemeth?

Shapeshifter?
No, I think its a being of no form.
Aka the Void.
Sithis.
He has come to Dragon Age!
The Eternal City. In elven lore, he trapped the Creators there.
I'm not sure if she would want to free the Creators; the Forgotten Ones were supposed to be malevolent, and trapped deep in the abyss (possibly deep in the earth). I wonder what role Asha'bellanar will play in Inquisition - potential ally, perhaps...
One thing I am sure of is that Asha'bellanar is indeed an ally, or at least, a force acting for the betterment of the world whether it agrees with her or not. Also, I'm damn sure that the Dalish know exactly what she is too, given her words to Merrill.

A being of pure darkness...of shadow and void. I could get behind that...
The shadow that whispers into the night. A quiet voice that slithers through the mind..

An Old hag who talks too much?
I swear to god, those comics were written purely for the collecting of fan tears cried in frustration over dangling story lines.
They are definitely good at the whole mystery thing.
An Old hag who talks too much?
Well, that too lol
The problem with all this speculation is we just don't know enough. We're dealing with situation that has an unknown amount of players with unknown abilities, unknown, histories, unknown motivations, and unknown stakes. All we know is that Flemeth is probably not any kind of creature we know of, and she is a player, and that Fen'Harel is maybe a player as well. And somehow the Forgotten Ones and the Eluvians factor in.
Not a lot to go on.
