Let me add some speculation of my own:

1. One of our followers looks to be a chevalier. Maybe it could be Ser Michel. He's not a part of the Chevalier Order proper, but he's still a chevalier. The last exchange he had with Gaspard, Gaspard told him to do something worthwhile, which meant that Ser Michel intended to find Imshael, the demon/spirit of choice. Maybe that's how we find him?

I doubt it. Our third warrior is either Feathers the grey Warden or possibly Cullen.

Good thing too, if I had a Chevalier on my party I'd have to kill him on principle.

So I found out that watching The Prince of Egypt while reading The Masked Empire is a bad idea. I can't help but picture Briala now as a female Moses xD

I swear, if the elves will start singing "Deliver Us" in DA: I.....

I remember that movie.

Just be wary. If we see Briala stalking up on frogs, flies, or locusts, just run.

And then Celene and Briala sing "Let my people go!" :P

If they don't listen after a while, instead of releasing the formless Angel of Death she'll then release the Formless One. :P

You know, I'm still holding onto my theory that the reason the Inquisitor can close veil tears is because he/she is really a spirit that's forgotten he/she is a spirit, sort of like Cole. But what if the spirit the Inquisitor is is the Formless One?

Wait, what if Felassan was the Formless One and when his master "killed" him he was merely crippled, sent hurtling through the Fade confused until he encountered someone dying after the peace conference veil tear and assumed their identity without realizing it? So Felassan is the Inquisitor. *Head Explodes*

I think it more likely the Inquisitor would be 'possessed' by a spirit of Hope more than any other kind of Fade entity. They are supposed to be the strongest Fade dwellers. Closing Veil Tears should be easy for them.

so many opportunities for an "I see dead people" joke. However, if the inquisitor is posessed/sustained by a spirit......that makes cole seem like a much more likely party member. So that's what I'm hoping for.

Well, one of the Forbidden Ones wouldn't be a slouch either.

I despise that story (The historical one, not the Religious allegory)

._. Skilled and well paid artisans, craftsmen and soldiers aren't Slaves just because they aren't enabled to the rights of Egyptian Nobility.

Just saying.

We've always had rings in Dragon Age.

I don't think the rings actually granted any special abilities in the direct sense.

If I were to guess at in game values, Celene's fire ring is just a +5 fire dmg and the ring that both her and Gaspard posessed were rings giving +2 dexterety or something.

Given what Celene mentions, I think hers and Gaspard's rings may be the Puzzle Rings of the Black Fox. I found the idea interesting, as there might be at least 10 elite players of the Game out there that had been given these rings. I can't help but wonder if the effects stack (beyond finding the BF's stronghold), in-world? Given how the effect of wearing a single ring is described in the novel, the Black Fox must have practically been able to see through time ;)
