Dear god, no one is understanding what I'm saying.
Why does it matter who confirms them? Bioware aren't going to come here and list them all for you. Either wait for official confirmation in six months or be prepared to accept some well-researched conjecture.
Fans have been diligent in assembling information and arguing over lists of who seems in and out, and so far we have a very likely roster of seven or eight. Maybe even all nine, depending on how much faith one puts in certain information.
"Officially confirmed" companions include Cassandra, Varric, Vivienne, Solas, and the Iron Bull. If you're not prepared to take our word that these characters are certain and confirmed, that's your loss.

Just go on the Dragon Age wiki and search for companions. They all come with source links so I'd wager that's the most reliable place.

Only Varric, Cassie & Vivienne, for now.
If Bioware's pattern; which involves bringing back a companion from a previous game/DLC as a new companion in the following one, is going to continue into DA:I, I'd say Leliana/Morrigan has the highest chance of returning as a companion.

They were already confirmed to not return as companions

They will confirm another companion this Friday (I think)
so that should clear up some things.
And they already said this would not be Varric or Cassandra. So Yay!

Wouldn't Varric be the one who is continuing this pattern anyway?
DA: O --> DA: A = Oghren
DA: A --> DA 2 = Anders
DA 2 --> DA: I = Varric

They've been confirmed for a while.
I know, I was saying that they said the next Follower Friday would not be about either Cassandra or Varric - it would be someone "new." So hopefully we'll have someone else indisputably confirmed as a companion soon.

It says Sera and Solas *are* confirmed on the Dragon Age wiki. Do just the devs write the wiki? #confused

No, Devs do not write the wiki. Fans do.
Sera was apparently confirmed in one magazine, and Solas had that spread in a magazine.

Cassandra, Varric and Vivienne are set in stone and 'approved' by Bioware.
Solas was seen in gameplay and later confirmed by the German Gamestar magazine as 'Solace'. David Gaider corrected the name to Solas. It's not completely watertight, but almost as good.
Iron Bull was seen in the trailer and confirmed in one magazine or another. He was then confirmed by the devs at PAX, although reporting is hazy.
Cassandra, Varric and Vivienne are the ones officially announced by Bioware. Iron Bull and Solas have been acknowledged by devs though.
