I think people are kind of missing the joke. And I think you're the same people who would have missed the joke in Frasier. It wasn't meant to be hilarious to the average person or to pander to a tiny group of people(who would already have to be watching the show, dur). It was meant to show that this is a group of nerds think differently than most people. Like when Frasier and Niles would be laughing uproariously over a joke about an obscure opera, you weren't supposed to be in on the joke, you were supposed to understand that they're comedically disconnected from the average person.

Goodness, this thread is from a year ago!

But yeeeeeah, ME3 is definitely remembered more for its ending negativity than anything else as far as the masses go. Of course thats not the case for some hardcores and casuals that enjoyed it, but the prevailing opinion stands.

I still remember the impressive feeling I had after the first time I completed Mass Effect 2. You took out the Collectors, told Ceberus to sod off (depending) and did that climatic stare into space as the Reapers were awakening...I miss enjoyable endings like that.

At least, as a pop culture reference.....

I really don't have a prob with the endings myself. It's all about how crappy Priority Earth is to me.

Priority Earth was ABYSMAL compared to the run up the Citadel and the Suicide Mission. No doubt.
