Woman wants love. Grabs man by the scruff of his uniform and drags him into tent. Throws him onto bed and has her way with him.

can we please have a romance where the inquisitor encourage the LI to do just this, I'm thinking cassandra would be a good choice. although vivienne may be good for it to.

But this happens. A lot. To both sexes. Whether the recipient feels exploited is up to that person. In regard to the DA games, i viewed the brothel scenes as tongue in cheek, nothing to be taken seriously. Are we really prepared to level serious interpretations of that?

I'm starting to get really confused by your posts. I didn't mention any DA brothel scenes?

In my opinion women get used as sex props infinitely more often than men, and I personally would like to see neither used as props. If a video game must have sex scenes, I would like to see ones where men and women are treated equally.

Better than what we got in previous DA games... let's go the Mass Effect route.

Yeah, only Liara's scene was worth it in terms of no underwear (weird that Liara was the only LI with no underwear on tho).

Still Shepard wearing it was cringeworthy and made me roll my eyes, I really can't understand the ME team's logic to put underwears on Shep and other squadmates and not on Liara.

As far as Shepard goes technically Bioware treated both sexes the same, in that both versions of Shepard are in their underwear. The problem is that male Shep's scenes look far more natural, because that final romance scene includes Shepard waking up from a dream afterwards. Fem Shep however is wearing a bra, and what woman ever sleeps with a bra on?

That isn't to say that the scene with Fem Shep should have featured partial nudity. Just that perhaps instead of having her wearing a bra when the uniform came off, that it should have been a tank top. It would look more natural when she woke up from the dream at least.

Or just not show her chest area and at the same time show it like she didn't wear anything, like when camera was on Shep's back... it's simple, really. Just like what they did do to Liara. OR..... they could easily put some different animations, like her not getting up. There were many options to not show her chest area.

This happens to a lot of movies, they avoid the chest area with women or have them covered on their blanket. I don't know why they didn't bother to do the same to her scenes.

I think BioWare's games would be better without sex scenes. It'll force people to actually care about the overall product than the meager aspect that is romance.

I don't think there should be any violence in Dragon Age. I like games for the relationship element. I find all the combat rubbish, IMO. I always feel people need to go out and pick fights in the street, rather than live vicariously in a game personally.

I'd like to be able to play this game with people around without squirming awkwardly during sex scenes.

I would prefer just fade to black scenes.

I don't really think I should have to point how silly it is to imply anyone would play through 40 hours of this game to vicariously experience sex through a short cutscene when they can access all the porn they could ever want in 5 seconds through the internet.

I prefer #3 and then #1. I think they add to the romance if done right and you should have the choice whether to do them or not. By that I mean a sex scene should not be necessary to cement the romance at the highest level. Perhaps a proposal or some other dialog option. Of course if that uses too many resources . . .

  • Also, there shouldn't be just one scene. I think 3 which are random (after the first time) is reasonable. Though I suppose 2 is fine.
  • The first time should be different for each LI with an extended cuddle/dialog scene afterwards. DA2 handled the aftermath better DAO in that respect but the people in bed should have been under the sheets instead of in their underwear. The additional scenes can be adjusted for body types but don't necessarily have to be different for each LI.
  • If Bioware decides to go with option #1 then a little more leadup would be nice.
  • Afterwards, for either option you should have the ability to talk to your LI. If not in bed then click on something in the bedroom/tent. There should always be a special place you can talk to your LI. If you're traveling and want a personal conversation you could initiate it as in DAO but then you and your LI walk a short distance away from the others.
  • I wonder if the following is possible: each romance scene is a series of mini-cutscenes with different cameral angles. If these could be randomized then every time you want a sexy romance scene it would be different even though it would have elements in common with other scenes. I suppose if it could be taken further then some of these minis could be LI-specific. The first time would have all the LI specific minis and subsequent scenes would have some or none.

Definitely no underwear always on and while I have nothing against full nudity I don't think it's necessary.

I prefer either 1 or 3.   I have no problem with 4 but I realize it would turn off many people and I want this game to be as successful as possible.  I personally  hope it goes along the lines of the mod Mild Romances.  this mod showed the passion without being porn.  What is truly important is the conversations before and after.   It needs to flow and a connection should be shown or how the individual feels needs to be communicated.

I didn't like the sex scenes is Origins,  DA 2 was okay but didn't feel like relationships.  The scenes in mass effect 1 and 3 were fine for me didn't like the scenes in 2 for the most part.   I do request you be allowed to kiss your LI more than just once.  It would be nice to kiss them before going into big battles  just would make the relationship feel more real.

And I don't think we need any boning for a Dragon Age game to be great.

Opinions are like sternums, we all have one.

Not true. There are many people who have sternums removed, usually because of heart surgery.

Belly buttons work better.

Not true, I heard of a story where a pissed off Special Forces operator tore out the skull of a baddie and beat him to death with it.

A waste of a good skull, in my opinion.

3-4. Sex is sex, make it natural. We're gutting people 24/7, no reasons to be freaked out by a naked ass. I hope the animations are better than DAO though, god that was awkward. Isabela's scene in DA2 was pretty good.

Yes, picking fights in the street is a great idea, but actually finding romance in real life? No way, make that the focus of a video game.

Topic: I would like to see some nudity in DA. If you are grown up enough to see blood splattering violence you should not be offended by nudity. This is just my opinion... but if there have to be erotic moments I surely want to see some nudity... that goes for male and female...

I really do not mean actual penetration and stuff... but when you look at ME3... showering in underwear? REALLY?????
