To be fair, showing a woman's nipples (because ridiculously enough that's what is considered crossing the line nowadays) is not equivalent to showing a guy's genitalia.

It perhaps wouldn't be considered crossing the line if it wasn't always done for straight male benefit.

I actually agree with this. Sex with clothes on is silly no matter how you put it. Plus, it does bother me that quite often these scenes are framed as if the man was the only one getting a kick out of it. On the other hand, you certainly are aware that in this hypothetical scenario the woman's backside would likely be as visible as the man's, right? I find a 'no genitals' rule to be equal enough, but others might disagree.

Actually I think partially clothed sex can be very sexy, but certainly not the ones of the mass effect 3 variety. But yea um I don't really see medieval style clothing lending itself to that sort of "convenience"

Couldnt they do it like some Animes are, its there but no details are drawn in on those parts. Like for Ladies the breast are there but the nipples arent drawn in and stuff. I seen some Animes do that where nudity in the show is vaguely shown because the person quickly got out of the show or some shennigians.

Well, despite having the appearance of being nude in the sex scene, Liara did not have nipples or woman parts on her model.

hmm, I would enjoy an mix of how mass effect 2 and 3. As also  Dragon age 2 love scenes. Mix of all 3 would be neat..    What I like about DA 2 was the self imply.. even after the one love scene..they will give hints that the characters through out the years are ^_- .  But maybe a mix of DA:0 where you can kiss the character and ask them to bed.  would be neat.   now the game is pretty much be work at in final stages. so they already have love scenes set up. but maybe for future projects.. where it's has an mix of those things I said ^^ also I would find it neat..let's say after you have slept with you partner.  That they have the mix of self imply just as Dragon age 2. But if you choose to sleep outside or already from the  bed..if you do it many times..then your partners will ask.. if something is wrong..

Real Answer: The real question is why are female breasts considered a sexual draw, and male "Breasts" are not. Because the answer to your original question is clearly "Female Breasts are associated with eroticism" while male's are not.

 

Depending on how much stock you place in biology, anthropology and zoology, that answer lies in our bipedal locomotion. Shortening it up a little bit, it basically comes down to what parts are on display when you compare quadrupedal locomotion to bipedal. For Quadrapeds, the entire genital area is on display, but compare a person's bipedal stride, and it becomes apparent our (Female) forms leave a lot more to the imagination in that region. And so prominent breasts serve as a sexual signal to the male. I suspect that simultaneously answered a question about male obsession too.

I agree that the level of censorship is silly, and as a straight male of reproductive age, I support the inclusion of detailed breasts in every part of my environment. I'm merely explaining the current thread of thought within the scientific (Specifically anthropological) community.
