Fade to black can work quite well and has for years.  One classic and (I think) good example would be Tika and Cloud in Final Fantasy VII.  Right before you head into the Northern Crater, there is a very well done scene followed by a FTB.  The characters aren't even sitting that close to each other, but the dialogue makes it clear what happens.  It was confirmed by WoG that Tika and Cloud hooked up.  I thought it worked there, because their conversation was my favorite part. 

 

Another example is the PC and Bastila in KoTOR. You have a very emotionally charged scene that, I believe, can end with "Shut up and kiss me" (basically), and then FTB. The next line is a "we shouldn't have done that", and when I first played through KoTOR (being young), I assume it meant the kiss. Took me a while to figure out that that wasn't a reference to a kiss.

Not sure. I think I would go with #3 if it were up to me to decide, but I'd be okay with #1 or #2, as well.

 

I don't really care for the game to venture into #4 territory, though.

Actually I think partially clothed sex can be very sexy, but certainly not the ones of the mass effect 3 variety. But yea um I don't really see medieval style clothing lending itself to that sort of "convenience"

Besides, sex scenes happen in camp (DAO), at home(DA2) and probably at the keep(DAI). It's reasonable for the characters not to wear full armor in those circumstances.

Don't care. I don't need to see half naked pixels lol. It feels awkward every time. I think that the classiest one is probably Liara in ME3, but even so I just skip it. I dunno, I don't drool over animated characters. The only one that I really watch is the Triss one in Witcher 2 inside the cave because of the banter between the bandits lol.

 

 Sex in a video game is so uninteresting to me unless it has a purpose, the ritual with Morrigan for instance. Last night before a suicide mission kinda make sense too I suppose. But id rather have some dialogue instead. If the dialogue leads to sex... Fine. Whatever lol. Love to me isn't about sex, and I really don't care for it in video games unless again. Purpose and context.

lol.. nice joking =D unless you're being real..which... they would never do that in bioware...the only interactive..in bioware is the hugs,punch or kiss or shot.  they would never do that for the love scenes during the act of it

Oh GOD. My eyes are bleeding from reading that. If Bioware ever goes that route, my character will be asexual.
