The dialogue matters very much so. I'd take good dialogue over any kind of sex scene. But the thing is, chances are there is going to BE a climatic scene. They might as well make it good. As I said, Mass Effect 1 was an example of such a scene done right. Even Dragon Age 2 (minus the Isabela fling scene -__-) was tasteful in the way they approached it. Just not the underwear scenes from Origins.
Dragon Age 2 did not have sex scenes. There are no scenes of people having sex. There are scenes of people before and after sex.
That's not what this thread is arguing for.

This is the last thing i would consider important to be a good quality. Give me an amazing overall gameplay and i won't care about the sex scenes. My whirlwind Qunari Inquisitor will only be romancing his swords.

I can relate, though. I am struggling because it is now apparently a hate crime to give a rat's ass about what sort of examples young persons in our societies are exposed to, but I still do care about this stuff

This isn't funny, and I don't appreciate you implying that this game is intended for the "extreme/perverted sexualization of children" when it's not intended for children at all.
I'm an adult and I enjoy adult content in my games.
There is nothing wrong with having mature content in a game rated M for Mature/17+. That's why we have the rating system, so they can make content for their adult consumers and label it separately so parent's of children can choose what to expose their children too.

As long as it isn't dao sex scenes I'm fine. Dumb granny underwear and the "sexy walk", come on ;p . Although I liked the desire demon encounter (mage exclusive if you don't know about it, when confronting Connor). Fade to black but gets the job done.
Fade to black is fine as long as it's not silly bedroom sex, almost everyone knows how this happens, no need for imagination. Add some scenery or make it very out of the blue behind the counter sex. That'd be fun and actually stimulating.
The reason I like the Witcher encounters is because they are out of the ordinary. Even the nude cards of the first game, exceptionally stimulating due to unusual circumstances and scenery (and I have a thing for beautiful mosterwomen). The scenes with Triss and Succubus were beautifully done (well succubus not so much but at least it was exotic). I'd be perfectly happy with minimal thrusting but well, Triss was on the cover of Playboy, their intent was perfectly clear ;p

Even if there were no expicit sex scenes, it wouldn't make the game immature.Nudity just by itself isn't mature, in fact, nudity without proper context is most silly and needless.If your critique of the game not being mature enough is based upon the idea that "there's no visible sex" you don't know what maturity really is.
2.)Nude sex scenes exist in this game.Did you see that glorious Dorian ass?

Witcher 2, however the scene with Triss was basically number 3... I have no problem with seeing nudity, the ‘stigma’ of nudity in video games seems to stem from the notion that only kids play video games… Film seems to be much farther along when it comes to showing some nudity, than video games. The gaming medium is still like a nervous teenage boy who has been told for most of life, by religion, and his parents that seeing a woman’s breasts will degrade him into a perverted monster and melt the eyes out of his skull. As long as nude scenes are done properly, meaning they fit the situation, tastefully and logically, then what is the big deal?
