If I could make a small request, could we get some more information (perhaps another Codex) relating to Dane the Werewolf?
Dane has been referenced in the series several times. A Codex detailing the beginnings of his story can be found at the Pearl, and the Warden can recover his sword, Yusaris, from the Circle tower after defeating Shah Wyrd. The Brother of War in Awakening also mentions having spoke to an Alammari named Dane about dragons, though he didn't know if it was the same "Dane." Xenon the Antiquarian mentions "some Dane fellow" asking him why he made a shop so hard to find. (Interestingly, this would have been centuries after the period when Dane was supposed to be alive.)
I find his story fascinating, particularly the final stanza:
"Thus a bargain struck,
And Dane the wolf pack served in wolfen form,
And the werewolf to his family sped, as Dane,
One year and a day all told.
But some things cannot be repent,
Some coinage cannot be unspent,
When hearts are wagered, a fissure rent."
I'm intrigued by this last part. What does it mean? Did the werewolf harm Dane's family? Was he unable to return to them? I just want to know a little bit more about him.
